El Gamonal — Hotel in Paracas

Pretty good location, not too far from the bus stops, right near the Ballestas Islands tour boat pier. The hotel seems pretty clean, and they offer a reasonable brakfast of juice, tea, coffee, bread and rolls, and eggs cooked somewhat to taste.||||Unfortunately, this cannot be offset by the roosters crowing through the night and the dogs barking in a sort of fugue.||||The one other reemption of the hotel is the price. We felt very deceived by the rating this hotel got on Tip Advisor! This is a clean hotel, adjacent to a busy parking lot for boats leaving for the island tours. Be prepared with ear plugs and even the....barking dogs at night, singing Caruso's at 6:30 am, honking horns, garbage trucks, banging doors, moving furniture, crying babies, and the cherry on the sundae...no AC! Next to the island tours and not too expensive. Basic rooms and great view. I was happy staying at this hotel but keep in mind for the price it is a deal. Other high end hotels cost a lot more but this hotel was new and clean. What more do you need on a budget. Staff was nice and the hotel was quite.
