Upon arriving, the owner was friendly and put me in a decent private room. However, come morning, I was woken up to being rained on. The roof was leaking right onto my bed, on me and next to my laptop. Knowing I am in South America, I actually laughed about it and went down to let him know because I wanted to extend, but I didn't want to be stuck with a puddle on my bed. The owner refused to come up and see the problem, and actually began getting angry with ME. I told him I didn't mind, I just wanted to show him the problem and see what could be done. After him raising his voice with me, I decided to go up to gather my things. However it didn't end there. A young foreign girl who was working there decided to come tell me how "us Americans shouldn't bother coming to Latin America because these things happen" and how I shouldn't have a problem paying full price because "this is a poor family and I come from a rich country." I have never been treated with such disrespect in a hotel or hostel. ...

Our room was tiny but big enough and clean, and most importantly - it was literally just steps from the ocean & boardwalk.||||One wall of our room was a sliding glass door that looked right out into the street, so I was a tad concerned about privacy at first, but the curtain was thick and when closed gave complete privacy. We had a balcony right off the room w/ ocean views, or we could go up the spiral steps to a slightly bigger deck w/ an even better view...or like I said, we could just walk a few yards for the best view of all right...
Read moreStayed one night only. Arrived afternoon after trip to Paracas National Reserve. We took a room on the second floor with a balcony. 2 beds, tv, stand with shelves. The room had floor to ceiling doors with curtains. The bathroom had shampoo and towels. The beach was a few steps away. ||Both piers: El Chaco and Islas Ballestas 3 minutes away-walking.||Restaurants and shops are around the corner. ||Free wifi. Street parking. ||The service was not great. The owner or manager was more interested in talking with his friends than in talking to us about the room. I had to go to reception to get towels.||||I had a good stay for one night....
