Hotel Riviera Inka Paracas — Hotel in Paracas

We were very lucky with the room we got when we arrived here, there were 2 of us and we had 2 single beds and a queen size so plenty of space. I saw some of the other rooms and was offered one with 2 queen size beds but this would have involved an interesting squeeze past one of the beds to get to the bathroom. There was plenty of hot water and without doubt the breakfast was the best part of the visit. Had we had a different room this review would probably be quite different as I imagine the smaller rooms were very stuffy. It was really clean, the towels fluffy and the breakfast terrace was lovely. ||It was quite noisy on the first night but we put the fan on for the next couple of nights and didn't hear any sound from outside. It was disappointing that on the last day we had arranged to check out at 1300 (instead of 1200) and received a call telling us to get out or pay a charge. The guy we had spoken to was not around unfortunately. I think 'beachfront' is pushing it. Its only 2 streets away but is on the main road through Paracas. There was a flat screen TV and presumnably sky TV as this was on at Breakfast but we never switched it on in the room so...

Don't stay at this hotel! We stayed for one night at this hotel and we got robbed by one of their employees. We went to get breakfast for less than an hour and when we got back to our room our cash was gone! We went to reception to make the claim, when they checked the cameras, it shows when one of their employees went into our room unauthorized to rob. Worst of all is that the hotel didn't take responsibility for anything. They didn't gave our money back, they didn't even apologize. We did the police claim and during this awful process we lost a paid tour. The unprofessional administrator of the hotel was no help. Please don't stay in a hotel were you are not going to be safe and your belongings are not going to be safe. They let anybody get a master card to have access to all the tourists rooms. This is not 3 starts hotel...Rooms are super small, very basic. There was bearly space for our bags in the king room. The bad was so so, two single beds that were joined together to a king size bed. The balcony is tiny and there's no view from it. The shower head was broken and it looked like they tried to fix it with glue several of times. The walls of the hotel are super thin, we could hear the guy in the other room snoring at night it felt like we are sharing the same room. We could also hear the breakfast prep on the 4th floor while our room was located on the 2nd floor. Breakfast was nice, good various of food and nice view from the balcony. Location was good.
