Waiki pizza bar — Restaurant in Paracas

So here is our story with the Waiki bar. Initially, we only wanted to enquire if they show European football as there were a couple games going on we were interested in the next days. The staff was most kind and even checked their TV setup together with us. Turned out their directTV didn’t include the required package so we left, thanking them for their efforts. Later, we returned for some drinks as we thought the place looked amazingly stylish. The place was buzzing when we arrived! Drinks were good and came at a reasonable price. After a couple rounds, we recognised how good the pizzas look (and smell!). So, I spontaneously ordered a pizza and I have to say… wow! Soo yummy and tasty and crispy! Best pizza I’ve tried in Peru (especially from my European point of view, preferring Italian-style pizza). Service was also super fast and most helpful. Be careful with the long drinks and cocktails though (Peruvians like them SWEET). 😉 Keep it up, Waiki bar! Saludos...

The place from the outside looks like a hippie atmosphere, we ordered a medium pizza which is enough for those who eat little, the medium pizza could be separated by flavors so we ordered Hawaiian and meats, I recommend the Hawaiian since it is not very sweet and the meat was not so nice since the meat was not enough, they also have dishes for vegetarian people. In the place there are kittens and reggae music, I love cats so I had no inconvenience, the drinks were very good for the price although the price of the place is a little expensive for the food the medium pizza cost S/48, the attention with the people at the table was not adequate and was tooo friendly or cheeky with the customers, the medium pizza is enough for two people and the taste was good. The staff is super friendly and helpful. But keep in mind that happy hour may or may not be happening. Plus it may not be what you expect/think. If you are wanting to partake in happy hour. Ask your server to ensure expectations meet reality. You will get an honest answer. Do no rely on the boards.

I had the papa frites y queso. They were outstanding.

I also grabbed a pollo & bacon burrito. It was good. The total was on the side of too much food. But I am the one that placed the order and I enjoyed the meal.

Something to keep in mind. Like every other restaurant in town. They very likely do not have everything on the menu. Be flexible when you visit any local establishment and you...
