Hostel Killamoon Centro Paracas — Hotel in Paracas

We stayed at the sister hostel across the street (Ravenala Paracas Hostel), which share the same facilities with the Killamoon. It's a simple hostel but owner/manager will apply surge pricing; We paid $62/night through Booking.com, and this place is definitely not worth that.. Hence the 1-star review. Look for a different place if charged more than $30/night for a private room (or if you expect a higher level of quality for the price you paid..).

The rooms are not even remotely soundproof; you will hear every move and word of conversation of the upstairs neighbors, people in the lobby, and people hanging in the communal area. The window also doesn't close/have a lock, so anyone who pleases can open the window from outside and enter your room..

The bathroom was not clean (dirty shower curtain and hairs against the shower wall..).

All in all, there are way better places to...

We started in the hotel on the other way of the street (same company). We had breakfast in this hotel (picture of the breakfast shows all what we got for 2 people). Our stay was a disaster, to the point that we checked out one day before. The owner and the personel didn’t care, didn’t asked anything. Like it is a standard there that people pay for 3 nights but stayed only 2. The breakfast now is a joke, just to tick a box on booking. We were hungry after that. It doesn’t look like it is shown in the old photos. You need to pay extra 4soles for tiny scrambled eggs. 2tiniest rolls I ever seen, one teaspoon of butter, 2 teaspoons of hummus and 2 teaspoons of super sweet artificial jam is included. Crazy comfy bed in the private room, slept like a baby. For the price it's great, free breakfast (although extra for eggs), pool and rooftop terrace. Perfect for couples who want somewhere quiet to sleep but can still visit Viajero bar for a party in the evening.

We booked a boat tour and bike rental through them which went flawlessly, the Huacachina bus had a hiccup but they sorted it for us in the end. Laundry took a little while and had a missing item but they found it for me the next day.
