Ravenala Paracas Hostel — Hotel in Paracas

We payed 57€ per night for the room with a tiny balcony. We reserved the room for 3 nights but we were so disappointed that we stayed only 2nights without any refund. The room and the building were dirty, there is a lack of normal breakfast, no space for your belongings, and extra payments for anything sufficient to eat (like eggs). Also, we were asked to pay extra for renting the hairdryer, which was not in the room. Consequently, we bought additional non-refundable bus tickets to another city one day before and check out. No one even asked why we want to check out one day before, but after giving the rating on booking the owner contacted me on whats app. She asked for the details of our stay, but didn’t care that we payed 54€ for the night we didn’t even stayed and payed twice for the bus tickets. Better stay anywhere else. (The breakfast what we got twice for 2 people. You will have 4 smallest rolls they could find, equivalent of one teaspoon of butter, 2teaspoons of watery hummus, 2teaspoons of super sweet artificial jam, artificial juice and tea or coffee. Not enough to call...

Simple hostel but owner/manager will apply surge pricing; We paid $62/night through Booking.com, and this place is definitely not worth that.. Hence the 1-star review. Look for a different place if charged more than $30/night for a private room.

The rooms are not even remotely soundproof; you will hear every move and word of conversation of the upstairs neighbors, people in the lobby, and people hanging in the communal area. The window also doesn't close/have a lock, so anyone who pleases can open the window from outside and enter your room..

The bathroom was not clean (dirty shower curtain and hairs against the shower wall..).

All in all, there are way better places to...

Es ist ein wunderschönes Hostel, mit einer großartigen Atmosphäre. Die Leute sind unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Der Wäscheservice ist zwar etwas teurer, als in anderen Hostels, aber dafür bekommt die Wäsche auch trocken und gefaltet zurück. Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist die Küche, in der es an Sauberkeit fehlt und dass die Zimmer zwar geputzt werden, aber unter den Betten wahrscheinlich nicht rausgewischt wird. Das WLAN ist in dem Zimmer nicht das Beste, aber dafür im Innenhof einwandfrei. Wir haben übrigens in einem gemischte 4-Bettzimmer geschlafen.
