Loved this place! A few mins walk from the core of the town..Family run business (mother serving, daughter cooking). I was told to try the Carapulcra con Sopa Seca and it was delicious here at Villa Guzman. Service and attention was great. Price also great. Ambiance was nice as well. We popped in for a menu del dia due to the good reviews and were not disappointed. Service was friendly and the food was perfect. We especially enjoyed the chicharron de pescado. The value is hard to beat as well. Well worth traipsing slightly off the beaten track...

I was told to try the Carapulcra con Sopa Seca and it was delicious here at Villa Guzman. Service and attention was great. Price also great. Ambiance was nice as well. Fuimos por recomendación por si queríamos probar comida típica de la zona y además casera. Volvimos 2 veces, porque fuimos un viernes y solo había menú, así que al día siguiente donde ofrecían platos a la carta regresamos. Buen sabor, buena atención (como en casa), el ambiente familiar rústico. Si esperábamos más variedad, pero la carapulcra con sopa seca nos basto. Venía con su chanchito a la caja china. La comida tenía un sabor peculiar a leña. Mis acompañantes se pidieron un pillo saltado y accedieron a prepararnos un pollito a la plancha a pesar que no estaba en la carta. Eso más una jarra de chicha nos salió 70 soles, la verdad excelentes precios para todo eso. Aceptan efectivo y yape.
