Valhalla Resto-Bar — Restaurant in Paracas

Please do go and eat at this Restaurant! You won’t regret it! Food here is extremely delicious. I could not wait for the next day and eat here again. Ceviche starters ( both chicken and fish) were like from Michelin star restaurant. Menu of the day includes starter, main dish, dessert and even the drink which was really tasty. This costs only 20 or 25 soles depending on which set do you choose. We ate here on the days when restaurant was empty so don’t skip it for this reason because the food was super fresh. They have a diverse menu including rice with seafood, pastas, fish, chicken and of course ceviche. On top of that customer service is amazing. Restaurant owner even speaks English so he will talk you through the entire menu. I only write reviews when unexpected places surprise me and this is definitely one of them....

In many ways this is one of the better restaurants in town. However it suffers from a number of flaws.

First off the food served and the service are great in Parasca. No complaints on those fronts.

So why 4 instead of 5 stars? Very valid question.

When I was in town. They were randomly open. Their hours did not align with what they publish. Then 1 day they will be open and the next they will be closed.

The other big complaint is that they want to charge a 5% fee for using a credit card.

When I visited 1/2 the items on the menu were not available. That said what they did have was good.

Overall with the pros and cons. I am not sure I would visit...

This restaurant is quite clean, located right by the beach, and very easy to find. It's a family-style restaurant, very friendly, and the food is delicious.

I've heard many comments about how some restaurants in this area serve ceviche that can cause food poisoning, but I can confidently say that the food here is very fresh.

The soup is also good, and the fried rice with chicken is especially tasty and well-seasoned. While the drink options are not extensive, they do have Chilean and Argentine wines.
