We arrived in Puno at around 5:30am. Once we got to the hotel, we were able to eat breakfast (there is an extra charge of 5 soles) before half of us left for a full day Floating Islands tour. I was happy to wait in the reception area as the time of check in was after we were going to leave for our half-day tour, however I promptly fell asleep on the sofa and the staff had placed a blanket over me. At about 7:45am, I was woken up as they had our 4-bed room ready for us which was great news! We were able to have a quick shower and change before our tour, which started the day off well! ||||The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of space in the room for four of us and all of our luggage. The bathroom was clean. There was building going on the next morning which meant there was no hot water until 10:30/11ish which was not great as we were not forewarned, however I think it was out of the staff's hands and they were quite apologetic about it.||||All in all, a good hotel for our one night stay in Puno....
Read moreThe staff was VERY accommodating! After our stay was over, we went to Taquile Island for a night. We we returned we had a long wait before our bus to Cusco. They were gracious enough to hold our large bags so we were free to have dinner & stroll around till it was time for our bus. In fact after talking with them, we could have actually stored the big bags there while we were at Taquile & wouldn't had to lug them to the island. Would definitely stay there again just because of their hospitality! 5 star service||||It was a little thread bare, lighting a little dim, but otherwise...
Read moreWe only stayed for one night so it served the purpose. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a bit dated and had a funky smell but was very clean with good sized rooms. Wifi worked pretty good. This is one of the only places so far that did not include eggs for the free breakfast but it was only $24 CAD per night. It was very close to the main square. They happily stored our luggage for us while we did a one night home stay on...
