We found this small hotel, very close to the central part of Puno, to be a complete charmer. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout, from the small foyer to the extraordinary relief map of the town and its hinterland that clung to one wall of the central atrium, which was 5 or 6 storeys high. Our room was fairly small and modestly furnished but was very clean, as was our bathroom. Wifi was good as was hot-water supply. We were lucky to be on the second floor as there is no lift. Note that the hostal has no elevators, so you'll need to walk up stairs to your room and breakfast in the high altitude (Puno's elevation is ~3,800m...
Read moreLovely little hotel super close to the main square. Very decent buffet breakfast compared to other hostels we have stayed at in Peru. Great view from the breakfast room on the top floor. They provided towels, small bars of soap, mini sachets of shampoo and there was a functioning remote control heater in the room. Room cleaning everyday as well. Friendly staff too. Would recommend staying here if you’re planning on spending a couple...
