Posada De Pumacahua — Hotel in Wanchaq

I stayed at the Posada Init Wasi (House of Sun in Quechua... I recommend learning some of that language if you travel to Cusco!) in Dec 2010 and Jan 2011. I was there for a week and can honestly say my trip was so much better because of the people at the Inti Wasi!||Boris and Milagros are the two the own and run the hostal, and they are more than willing to do anything they can to help. Eliana, Milagros' sister, speaks more English and helped me plan all of my activities, and purchases tickets and everything for me, in order to get "local rates". They were all so patient with my complete lack of Spanish, and every morning when they served breakfast they would help me learn and practice my Spanish. They also would give advice for the best things to see and do. They made the visit very special, comfortable, safe and easy going. At all hours even, since I had to leave early for the Machu Picchu hike, and returned late at night from several tours.||||The only reason rooms and sleep quality are not 5 stars is because I love soft beds, and they weren't as soft as I am used to. And sleep quality depends on the other guests, as some were a bit noisy. But all in all I was comfortable, they made sure there was always tea available, hot water for a shower, and anything else I needed.||||I highly recommend the Init Wasi. It is not right at the Plaza des Armas, but I liked that as there are no crowds around the Init Wasi. It is only a short walk to the Plaza, or the bus station, or local market, and taxis are easy to catch on the Ave el Sol, 1 block away.||||Highly...

We stayed at Posada Inti Wasi for five nights in Dec'09. I cannot say enough about the service we received at this hotel. Boris and Milagros, the young people running Inti Wasi, went out of their way to help us with our needs, including letting us park our rental car at their friend's house for one night because the garage nearby was closed when we got there one night. Mi esposa y yo llegamos al hotel Posada Inti Wasi en noviembre de 2009, el lugar es muy acogedor y limpio, la atencion es de primer nivel. cuando llegamos al hotel nos sirvieron agua caliente y nos entregaron recomendaciones para aclimatarnos en cusco. ||Luego nos acompañaron a conocer los principales lugares de cusco.||El hotel incluye desayuno, te, cafe y leche, con huevos y jamon, mermeladas. muy bueno. ademas de contar con house keeping genial.||tiene internet inalambrico y nos dieron la posibilidad de imprimir nuestros ticket de viaje para el tren a machu picchu y del avion.||En la noche cuando regresabamos al hotel siempre nos ofrecian algo caliente para servirnos.||Si bien no esta en el centro, se puede tomar un taxi por 3 soles a 5 minutos y ya esta. el lugar es muy seguro. Desde el aeropuerto al hotel hay 5 minutos y el taxi cobra 5 soles. ||las habitaciones son muy limpias, con agua caliente y tv por cable. ||el lugar y su gente son muy confiables y extremadamente atentos.||Un par de amigos por error se fue a otro hotel de nombre similar, aun cuando estaban en el centro mismo de cusco no tenian todas las comodides que nosotros tuvimos en nuestro hotel, ademas del ruido que se sentia en las habitaciones y peor aun el hotel era mas caro que el nuestro y no tan bonito.||Realmente recomiendo este hotel.||Carlos Marihuan de...
