The rooms themselves are very nice and the bathroom and (hot) shower are beautiful, however the room was freezing when we arrived and the small heater took a long time to warm the place up. We also left the heater on one day while we went out and came back to it plugged out and another frigid dance into bed. |Breakfast finishes very early (9am) and is nothing special, some juice, fruit and coffee and cereals. Check out at 9 is also very early. |The worst part of the room is the noise, it is SO LOUD! Every door seems to slam and you hear them nonstop. The noise from outside is also terrible and we were woken by a full song being played - inside or outside we didn't know, but it may as well have been in our room. |It is a 10 sole taxi to the centre and most taxi drivers we met have no idea where it is so you need a map and or good Spanish to direct them. |The rooms were clean and cheap and the staff very friendly but that's all that's...
Read moreA basic and clean hotel with a very friendly staff ,always willing to help . If you need a tour they have an agency with very cheap prices , they can also call a cab for you . The breakfast was basic but good ; ham , cheese, bread , fruits, cereals , yogurt, coffee and hot milk . 10 min drive to Plaza de Armas ( the very center of Cusco ) , a taxi from the hotel is about 5 to 8 soles ( 2 to 3 US dollars) . They work with a taxi driver named Rubén , a very honest and cool guy , he drove me and my family safely throughout the city without any issues, good prices, and good knowledge of the culture and the area , here’s his WhatsApp +51 913 569 077 . This is the only time I do this because he deserved it , I’ve been to other places around the world and never found an honest taxi driver , but this man is one to trust . He offers other services,...

The walls were so thin I heard every time the neighbor used the bathroom (yes the entire process) and this also means people getting ready at 3am for tours. The neighborhood itself was a bit loud. Occasionally car alarms and dogs barking. Bring your ear plugs! The internet was very slow and unreliable. Maybe that's a Cusco thing.
It was safe though. If you're taking a quick trip just to see some excursions and only need a cheap place to sleep without spending much, this will do, but if you expect anything more this hotel is...
