Tupac Amaru Square — Attraction in Wanchaq

When I came to Peru, I was not expecting such widespread recognition of 90s West coast rap music. This plaza is a shining example of how the government has shown showing their support of American rappers. The plaza itself is very peaceful, unless you try to sit on the grass, in which case a Mami will come and tell you to get off of the grass. Lots of people come to chill here. There is a nice pollo restaurant on the side with good prices. There is also a stage, though I have never seen anyone performing there. I assume that the stage is for local rap acts.
