Chifa Capon — Restaurant in Wanchaq

Spent over 900 soles on a prearranged catered take away lunch here. I have to admit that the service was somewhat unprofessional from the beginning, but we trusted Capon due to having dined there in the past. While we were about to pay, the girl at the cash register told us that she had made a mistake on the original price she had quoted us and that it would be 14 soles more. That was of course a complete surprise, so we mentioned that the budget had already been approved and we had come with the exact amount in hand. We were firm about it, and thankfully she didn't press the issue any further. Strangely, she immediately printed a detailed receipt showing the correct (original) amount. We're still not sure if she was just trying to pad her pockets, but we can only wonder based on what happened. The food was very good, though expensive. Muy buen chifa, de lejos el mejor chifa de Cusco. Y gracias por eso!! Porque estaba buscando y probando todos. Llegue a pensar que nunca encontraría un Chifa decente en esta ciudad.
