I dropped by this “Italian” restaurant after my workout in my gym clothes and craving some ravioli. When I came in, no one greeted me even though the staff saw me right away. I had to approach a waitress just to get a table.
They gave me the menu quickly, and the slightly overpriced food was fine save for the sloppy cocktail, but things went downhill from there. At some point, an older Pinoy guy—maybe the owner or manager—started yelling at the staff in front of everyone, which made the whole place feel awkward.
What really got to me was the way they treated a (older white) foreign guest who came in later. The same manager who ignored me suddenly rolled out the red carpet for them—greeting them warmly and serving them directly.

We loved everything; the black truffle pizza, pasta alla vongole, rigatoni tartufo and risotto gamberetti asparagi. Our server Glenn was great and convinced us to come back for lunch the very next day. This reminded me of local restaurants in old Italian cities where recipes are handed own over family generations. Definitely a great find I'd recommend to everyone. They've been up and running for 15 years for a reason. They also have a tapas bar (La Bodega) and a bakery/gelato place (Milano)....
