We are from Quezon City. On May 12, 2023, we went to Pangpanga to rest because we have not slept for 24 hours because my husband is a doctor and I am pregnant. We are so busy that we need to rest. We were supposed to book at abc hotel but abc hotel is already full. I saw the real hotel so I immediately called and booked a room. When I paid, we left to eat first. I made a reservation at 12:30. The staff told me that if we enter early, we have to pay 500 pesos. I was surprised because it was almost 2pm. I already paid the 500 pesos so that I don't get stressed. and so we can rest. As for their guard, we don't know why he was so angry with us and made fun of us. We were parked properly, we were even moved. we moved so there would be no trouble when we went up to the room. we slept for 2 hours and my husband came down. when he came down he saw the parking lot where it was forbidden to park, someone was already parked. so we ignored it. we extended one more day. Every time we go out, the guard looks at us and our car. He said that it was our last day at the hotel. The manager did nothing, not even saying that he was sorry for what his staff did. Their room is non-smoking but smells like cigarettes. I am pregnant and I have a 2 year old son. we cough cough they don't care. if I hadn't complained they wouldn't have taken care of us. even the room is disgusting and the water is blocking the drainage. The room smelled like cigarettes. please don't book here if you want a good hotel don't stay here. Their manager doesn't care, he still takes sides with his staff even though it's wrong. be careful of their guard, they will challenge...
Read moreUpon check-in I'm told we were upgraded from the jacuzzi suite to the junior suite. At the end of check-in the concierge slides in an "oh it's a smoking room by the way". My wife's asthmatic and I don't know a fool who enjoys sleeping in a room where people smoke. No other available options and the booking was already paid for(non-smoking btw). The room also appeared to be outfitted with a nice 5.1 surround sound wall mounted system.
We get upstairs and it doesn't reek too bad, but when I get into the bathroom I stomp two cockroaches and flush another. A spider and cob webs in the jacuzzi, amongst what appeared to be cigarette burns as a result of a guest ashing into the dry tub.
Wife and I go have some drinks and on our way we inform the front desk, they said they'll take care of it. We get back, no spider and no roaches but we're tired so we go to bed.
In the morning when we woke, we wanted to enjoy the jacuzzi and some music. We fill the jacuzzi and turn on the jets... Hair, mildew and an old petrified cigarette butt comes flying out of the jets. We fill, run, and drain three times in an attempt to get a clean jacuzzi going. It just kept coming, so we tell the front desk and they send someone up to clean it. While we wait, we wanted to jam to some music. I then learn that the speakers aren't plugged in and the receiver isn't plugged in either.
At the time of writing this it has been over thirty minutes since housekeeping started cleaning the jacuzzi. It's nearing check-out and we'll very likely not experience the jacuzzi at all.

Read moreI recently checked in at Devera Hotel after a long journey, and I want to express my deep appreciation for the exceptional hospitality I experienced here. From the moment I arrived, the process was seamless, the staff were courteous, and the rooms were spotless — a welcome comfort after many hours of travel.
What truly made my stay memorable was the kindness and attentiveness of Ms. Charlene at the front desk. Her professionalism, empathy, and sincere care for guests reflect the best of what hospitality should be. She handled my situation with genuine understanding, and I immediately felt at ease and valued as a guest.
It’s rare to meet someone who combines warmth and efficiency so naturally. I believe gestures like hers deserve recognition and truly set Devera Hotel apart. My sincere thanks to Ms. Charlene and the Devera management team for fostering a culture of understanding, respect, and authentic guest care.
This experience has left a lasting impression, and I would gladly...
