JW Apartments "Hotel Alternative" Great Rates for long and short stay! — Hotel in Angeles

We were upgraded to a room with a kitchen and living room during our stay. We enjoyed staying in this place as we were able to rest but what really caught us off guard was that most of the lights in the living room area were busted, only the middle light switch was working which was for the kitchen area. Even the lampstand provided doesn't have a bulb and we had to use the lampstand from the bedroom just to make the living room bright. The ceiling fan was also not working but the good thing was that there was another fan we could use. For the price, it's enough especially since we just needed a place to sleep during the weekend and is also close to Clark International Airport. No toiletries were provided except for a toilet paper and the bath towel did not help us dry enough which was uncomfortable. So even if we were upgraded to a bigger room the amenities were a bit disappointing. We didn't use the small kitchen equipments but the fridge was working well. There is no toilet paper holder or a towel rack. The staff were nice and friendly during our stay and they even have a 24/7 security which made our stay at ease. The place is accessible going to Clark Freeport Zone where most establishments are located and just a few minute drive to SM City Clark. There is a limited parking space inside the apartment and they also have a street parking specifically for their guests. I still would say that it is a good place to stay but improvements are also needed to make it more comfortable for other guests planning to visit...

I didn't expect that a bigger room was provided to me. I booked it on an app and had some discount. I got it for only less than Php 700. I'll list down here the pros and cons of staying on the apartment.

Pros: The staff are courteous and will ask you about the things you need. But honestly, you already have all the items (small appliances and furniture) inside. The room is so affordable and big enough for a couple. Also, it was clean and all appliances are working. You really get the value for money. The bed is large, two towels were provided and there are clothes hangers in which some transients don't provide. They have a small kitchen inside and utensils were also provided. I seldom see a pair of chairs and a table on some inns but on this transient they provided it.

Cons There should be at least a handsoap or sanitizer provided. We are currently living in a pandemic era and being clean is part of natural living now. The inner road going to the place is quite bumpy and there's no local stores available nearby. It would be great if there are slippers too. Wifi has a slow connection on peak hours but is fast during late afternoon, night time 'til dawn.

JW apartments is a good, safe place to stay if you are looking for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment within walking distance to Angeles City Walking St. All of the rooms come equipped with A/C, safety deposit box, queen sized bed, and a hot water shower. The 1 bedroom comes with a full kitchen with gas powered stove. There is no cable TV but each room comes with a Smart TV that can play Youtube or Netflix. Walking Street is a 10 to 15 minute walk but you can take a tricycle to the main strip to save time. There is a guard on duty during the night so the place is...
