Inside, the ambiance is nothing short of enchanting. Large, uniquely shaped windows flood the space with natural light during the day and create a mesmerizing effect at night, making the interior a feast for the eyes at all hours. This dynamic atmosphere keeps diners engaged and curious about their surroundings.

The culinary experience begins with the pizza, baked to perfection in the wood-fired oven. The basil topping, though its source remains a mystery, exudes an intense fragrance that leaves a lasting impression. The balance of flavors is impeccable, making it clear that the quality of ingredients is a priority here.

Pasta dishes, cooked to al dente perfection, arrive with sauces that strike the perfect balance between saltiness and subtlety, providing a comforting and satisfying culinary experience. The coffee, made with Illy beans, is a standout feature. Its quality is so high that it entices visitors to come just for a cup, even if they're not staying for a full meal.

Dessert offerings include the intriguing matcha sesame cheesecake. While the sesame flavor was more pronounced than anticipated and the cake itself leaned towards the sweeter side, the fusion of matcha and sesame flavors, although interesting, didn't quite meld seamlessly to my palate.

One slight letdown was the salad. The use of Asian lettuce instead of the crisp romaine resulted in a less satisfying, somewhat limp texture. However, this minor flaw did not overshadow the overall exceptional dining experience.

Considering the harmonious blend of taste and atmosphere, this restaurant undoubtedly warrants multiple visits. It stands as a testament to the power of thoughtful design and quality ingredients in creating a dining destination that is both delightful...

We had a really great first experience at Trattoria Altrov’é Angeles, which is why we chose to go back for my sister’s birthday. Unfortunately, this second visit was a huge letdown. What was supposed to be a special day turned into a really frustrating experience.

We placed our pre-order around 6 PM thinking it would help things go smoothly, especially since we had a big order. But when we arrived around 7:45 PM, it turned out the kitchen hadn’t even started preparing our food yet which completely defeats the point of pre-ordering.

When my sister sat down at our reserved table, she was asked if we wanted everything to be served at once, which she said yes. But that didn’t happen. Instead, the food came out one dish at a time, which made it really hard for everyone to enjoy the meal together.

The pizza and steak came out first, but around 8:12 PM, not all of the food was served yet, so we decided to start eating. Sadly, the steak was already cold. The food itself wasn’t bad, but the overall experience just felt like everything was rushed and uncoordinated.

We spoke to the manager, who explained that the steak wasn’t confirmed via chat, which was fine because we confirmed it in person. What didn’t make sense was why it was one of the first dishes served and cold. If it was made last, why was it served cold?

The only dish we didn’t mind being served fresh was the salad, since they explained it had to be prepared when we get to our table, which was fine. The real issue was the overall service. It just felt so disorganized, and it honestly ruined what should’ve been a really fun and special night.

The manager apologized and gave us three complimentary desserts, which we appreciated, but by then, the moment was already gone.

We really hoped this second visit would be as great as the first. We chose this place for a special occasion and expected better. Not sure if I ever want...

From the moment I walked in, Trattoria Altrove already felt inviting. The ambience totally drew me in, but honestly, it was the amazing service and the quality of food that made me keep coming back. When my girls and I are looking for a spot to dress up, celebrate, eat great food, and enjoy some drinks, this is the place. Some of our core memories were made right here—and the staff being super friendly just makes it even better.

The food? Delicious. I know some people say it's a bit salty, but for me, it's just right. If I had to nitpick, maybe the only thing I'd change is how unnecessarily big the plates are 😂

Anyway, my friends and I love this place sooo much. Once, we hadn’t quite finished our bottles of wine, and instead of rushing us out, they let us 'extend' a little after their closing hours. (And yes, we did clean up after ourselves, lol).

If you're looking for somewhere special to make core memories with your friends, I can't recommend this...
