Place was great but it could've been better.
We stayed at the hotel's suite. It was partitioned in to two rooms: the living room and the bedroom. The bedroom itself was very specious, although a bit loud since we were next to the road. Soundproofing could've been better. The bed was very comfy and clean and big enough to fit 3-4 people so it's good for big families or even a big group. The TV in the bedroom could've been bigger since the distance from bed to TV was far enough to make the TV look smaller than it is. Good lighting and plenty of storage. Although we would've liked for the balcony to have a screen door instead of just the glass door. The living room was also spacious. There was a couch which doubled as a bed for a single person although the couch has definitely seen better days. Complimentary water, coffee, tea and a fridge were available as well as sink. The TV at the living room was bigger than the one located inside of the bedroom. Unfortunately, the window by the living room does not have a view so that's a bit of a minus. The bathroom/toilet was spacious enough. The toilet had a bidet and the shower had a hot water option, although I was a bit disappointed as we were not provided with complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste. Not sure if the hotel had these available but these should've been already included (and not asked for). Not so much ventilation by the bathroom except for a window by the shower which only really brings in cigarette smoke from who knows where. An exhaust fan would've been better.
Parking is located by the basement of the building, though, you need to be directed if you are a first time goer as the way to the parking is not direct. You also need to decide beforehand whether you will take your vehicle out whenever you go out but I suggest just using public transpo as parking by the basement is tightly packed (I'm talking double, triple parking) so getting your vehicle in and out of the parking lot can be hectic. You can also park by the front but space is limited and it really is by chance.
The suite came with a complimentary breakfast by their Patch Cafe - a cozy little cafe located at the ground floor of the hotel. You can choose between a Filipino breakfast or an American breakfast (though, I would suggest taking the Filipino breakfast as it offers more quantity). You can also choose to buy something else from the cafe and I suggest giving their menu a try.
Location is strategic. It is close to SM and close to Session road. The hotel is also very accessible by public transpo as most jeeps and taxis drive in front of the hotel.
Staff are also very friendly and very...
Read moreBloomfield was a good place especially since it was near everything, the place was decent but it was kinda old. • The foods are nice but not that engaging, nobody is watching to refill the breakfast at that time. • Everything is fine even the price, but it became terrible because the bedroom was not clean, they can check or ask for my information to confirm that we are 2 men, I felt disappointed seeing under my pillow that there were a lot of long hair of women, maybe the previous guess was a woman and the room service did not change any sheets of my bed. • There's something wrong with the smell, not so sure kung ano yung maasim yung bed ba or yung table wood. I feel no one is doing general cleaning for a very long time because there are a lot of gross molds in the corners of the glass in CR, it was a bad experience as I feel uncomfortable seeing it while I'm taking a shower. • Using the telephone to contact them was not working well, there's a lot of static and it is not ringing, 1 out of 10 workarounds the telephone works to ring the front desk. Also, I am confused because it stated on the telephone that I can call outside numbers just starting with the number 9, I ask the front desk if there were hidden charges if I used the telephone to call my mom, and the front desk manager said the telephone was only intended for the front desk and other services, not to call outside. • The WiFi was not satisfying, it was unstable and sometimes there was no internet, also any of my sim cards cannot find signal in my room. I had emergency to call my mom, and that why I need to go to the lobby or outside the hotel to contact • They have toiletries, but it was kinda lack of other items such as water boiler, bathrobe, slippers, etc. that I usually see in the other 3-4star hotel, but it was fine because I can ask at the front desk what are available that they can give to me. • I suspect that the room was not sound proof because here inside we can hear people walking or talking from the outside. • The service was good, they have hospitality, just the place itself was not engaging, especially since the hotel was in front of SM Baguio, that's why I'm...

The hotel has been operational for years and you can see it in the room but it is fine considering it is very affordable and spacious. We were a family of 6 and we booked the junior executive room with 2 bedroom and a separate living room with 1 bathroom. We asked for an extra bed with an additional charge.
Upon entering the hotel we were greeted by the courteous security and assisted us to the reception. Check in was smooth, had to wait for a few minutes to check in but we were not able to get to our room until 2pm since there are back to back bookings. If you feel hungry there is patch cafe in the ground floor which offers delicious cookies and coffee.
The room was enough for the family. You can even sleep on the couch if you don't like to get an extra bed.. usual wear and tear in the room but as i have said. The hotel was old and considering the price and service i wouldn't mind. TV needs some upgrade since its not working properly when we came. And maybe some comp slippers would be perfect.
Location... it was just across SM City Baguio and few walks to the cathedral anf session road. The location was perfect 100% especially with our family who is travelling with 2 seniors and 2 kids. I love the place and location!
Breakfast was free and they will give you vouchers depending on how many pax maximum for the room. For us. We got 4 vouchers since the room i booked was for 4people. I just had to pay some extra for the kids meal. Usual filipino silog breakfast. It was superb! Grilled cheese and pancakes for the kids are topnotch delish!
You can also leave your bags with them before check in and after checkout if you still want to wander around the city.
Overall, the hotel stay was excellent. I believe the hotel was a 2star but i thibk we can give them a 3star. For someone who works in the hotel industry. I think bloomfield hotel lived up to my expectations.
Will definitely...
