This hotel is in a prime location, at the top of Session Road, just below the legendary SM Baguio. Five whopping stars for the location.

Although if you are not into the busy and noisy environment of CBD of the city, this probably wouldn't be the best fit for you.

I stayed at the top floor (6th floor) overlooking SM and the junction at the top of the Session Road. There is a lift that could accommodate 12 people.

The reception is neat, and I was greeted by the bellboy who helped me carry my luggage. Check in was smooth, I made a reservation through booking.com.

The room, I guess you get what you pay for. It is a nice double bed room with its own shower and bath. This is where the stars go down in ratings.

The showerhead produces very small amount of hot water, maybe designed to conserve water. Will take you time to shower, and with the cold Baguio weather, it is not ideal. The toilet seat was broken so I had to report that, wasn't fixed during my 1-week stay there. The toilet flush got broken halfway through the week, and I had to use manual flushing of the toilet.

The building and its facilities look rundown. Which surprised me as it is in the middle of the city, so I was hoping it is a bit more modern or at most, refurbished.

It is decently clean. However, the lines/sheets/even towels look decades old. They were white in their hay days; now they are cream or grey. The towels are yellow, and I regretted not taking towels with me.

The free breakfast is something worth mentioning. It is quite a small serving with one egg, one small piece of hotdog, and one cup of rice. There is option for corned beef, longanisa, or fish.

It is the location that you are paying for. And I would recommend it if you are not planning on staying in your room and looking for a place to drop your luggage or bags, and then tour around the city. I guess I can vouch for safety as I didn't have any bad experience regarding that issue. But of course, you can never be too safe. If you are clean freak and wants a quiet place to stay, then I would not recommend you to...

This one star is so difficult to give.. the hotel doesnt deserve a single star at all cause the my experience in the hotel was a nightmare .. i had my seminar in baguio at hotel 45 extension.. so basically my initial thought was the hotel was good because it was chosen to be a venue for a big event.. so I went ahead and booked a reservation for 3 days and 2 nights.. i paid a deposit for a night stay.. so when i got in the hotel, i immediately paid the rest of the payment without looking out first to my designated room.. i was really horrified when i finally got into the room.. its nothing like the pictures in their website.. the room was really horrible and ugly..it was old and dirty.. the smell of the room was very foul.. the paint was faded and chipping away.. there were molds every where . The bed sheet, pillow cases, towels and comforter were dirty white in color and didnt smell good.. the curtains were also old.. and to make matters worst, the toilet was clogged easily.. i only pooed once and it was very small but the toilet failed already.. i felt terrible.. it was my first time in baguio and my hotel experience in hotel 45 was very unpleasant.. i felt sorry for myself because i was not even trying to be matipid and yet i was stuck in a terrible hotel because i could do refund... you...

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS HOTEL. WORST STAY EVER!||STAFF: 5/10|From the start, the experience was unpleasant. The receptionist was rude, and the key given to us was dirty, leaving a bad impression.||CLEANLINESS: 3/10|We were shocked to find the room clearly unclean, dust everywhere, stained pillowcases, and unchanged musty linens. The bathroom was worse, with a used toothbrush in the sink, a wet floor, and smudged mirrors.||We also noticed that some furniture looked broken and worn out. The curtains were stained and smelled musty. You could tell this place hasn’t had proper maintenance in a long time.||DINING AREA: 4/10|The dining area was just as bad. The tables were sticky, flies were everywhere, and there were bird droppings on the glass window, absolutely gross! We lost our appetite and didn’t even bother to finish our food.||The hotel room feels old, dirty, and neglected. It’s not just a matter of cleanliness,No effort is made to make guests feel comfortable or welcomed.||OVERALL: 2/10|This place seriously needs a complete renovation and a new team of trained staff. I will never come back here and I strongly advise others to stay away. There are far better options nearby.||THE PHOTOS ONLINE LOOKED GREAT, BUT IN REALITY, THE PLACE WAS...

What I like was that the place was situated conveniently at the center. Accessible to everywhere. It's just a few mins walk to North Haven spa, Solid North Bus terminal, Starbucks, Night Market and etc.! What I don't like was cleanliness of the bathroom. Toilet seat cover really annoys me as how dirty it was. Hair dryer was not working, wherein I've addressed it to the staff, but she just ignored me. I guess hospitality is not part of their priorities. Wifi doesn't even reached to my room. You get what you pay for. But I'd choose this once again just because it is convenient to my itenerary.

Hotel 45 has a good location—very convenient since it’s near SM Baguio and accessible to key spots in the city. The room comes with a fan instead of air-conditioning, which is fine given Baguio’s cool climate. However, there are areas that need improvement. The towels are quite old and could be replaced, and the shower heater wasn’t working during my stay, which made things a bit uncomfortable. Overall, it’s okay if you just need a place to sleep in a central location, but don’t expect much in terms of comfort or amenities.
