We visited here last Saturday lunch time and had a great experience! It’s a simple karinderya by the road but the food was delicious, in big servings, at an affordable price! We enjoyed the bulalo, patatim, crispy pata, and grilled hito. Meat was probably boiled at a perfect time since it’s so soft and melts in your mouth (not exaggerating here haha coz it’s really good). We only spent 590php for 5person, and may take out pa kami. :) Mabait din ang servers.
We arrived there around 12:30pm and the place was already full. Finding a parking spot is quite difficult during this hour but we managed to get one just in front of the barangay hall. We got a table after 10-15mins but the food was served quickly and we also finished them faster than usual because it’s yummy and we’re hungrier that time as we just arrived from our 5-hr trip. Haha. We didn’t regret coming here and we will surely visit next time we go to Baguio. If you like a great budget-friendly food place, visit here and it’ll surely complete your Baguio experience as it did...
Read moreOpen early. We head here straight after our bus arrives at 7AM. Consistently excellent liempo! Reasonable prices. Bulalo is fall-off-the-bone on some days, a little tough on others. Minasan may pechay, minsan wala. Menu varies daily so take a look at what they have and order what looks good (but always get the liempo). Staff is efficient and they keep the eating area clean. They're friendly but the type that might scold or chide you in a joking manner like a loud tita. It's a karinderia so manage your expectations. Don't expect a good bathroom (at least meron), be ready to have cats staring at you hoping for a handout, and know that it's semi-self-service. Parking is limited. Kung medyo maarte ka, you can always get take out and eat at your air bnb but it's quite nice to sit there and enjoy...
