During our recent visit to Baguio City, our driver recommended Edsyl's Canteen for lunch, promising a taste of their renowned sinanglaw. Unfortunately, the sinanglaw was unavailable due to the overwhelming breakfast crowd. Undeterred, we opted for their sisig pusit, sinigang na maya maya, and pigar pigar.

The variety of dishes we tried did not disappoint; they were flavorful, well-cooked, and left us craving for more. The sisig pusit offered a delightful blend of textures, while the sinigang na maya maya boasted a tangy broth that perfectly complemented the freshness of the fish. My visit here wasn't planned, but since Good Taste was overflowing with crowd, we asked the cab driver to take us where he usually eats.

The food was great and this isn't just about their specials. They have regular dishes and you can just point, order, and eat.

Let me just remind you that this is a regular carinderia. Therefore, you need to look after yourself/group. Get your own utensils, order your own drink.

Love the pigar-pigar, bulalo, sisig, chicharon, free soup. There is more on the menu. They are open late at night too. Great place to visit after a night of drinking. Can seat at least 20 pax in one long table and they have 3 long tables. Prices are very affordable too. Cleanliness need to be improved. Spoon and fork is lacking at times and condiments are everywhere. Aside from that it's a 5-Star for me for the value...
