You will get what you pay for here in terms of food and customer service. Travelled all over Luzon and parts of Mindanao, and this is one of our usual stays. Of the last 6 years, we stayed 4 Valentine's Days here. As with any property near a beach, the maintenance could be better. Pool isn't bad, but needs a bit more attention, especially when rains come. Rooms are clean, but the balcony doors are bad...very hard to open/close. Slide wheels and locking mechanisms seemingly haven't been touched in years. Lastly, parking is at a premium. What it lacks in maintenance, it makes up for it in view and customer service. I truly feel like family here. Take care of them and they will surely return the favor. Great staff. The restaurant is oddly "seperate" in ownership/management from the hotel. Room service is great, but you can't charge it to the room. Nice thing is they don't have a service fee like many places. Just tip them good...they work hard climbing steps as this place doesn't have an elevator. The lunch/dinner menu is great! Breakfast needs work. Pancake syrup (no...honey is NOT pancake syrup) and actual jelly (fruit pie filling is NOT jelly) would go a long way to improving the continental breakfast and pancakes. Also...simple canned Del Monte fruit juices would be nice. Would make up for the Nescafe stick coffee and Milo hot chocolate. This is the Philippines...why no batirol????

Went here for birthday dinner of my wife. It's a good place to dine and drink, the area is spacious and perfect for large group. Food is amazing! We opt for go to Filipino foods: Crispy Pata, Blue Marlin Steak, Fried Chicken for the kids, Yang Chow and Birthday Noodles for long life 😁. They don't have cakes but we were served a complimentary S'more (sweet!). Staffs are friendly and accomodating. If you are in Baler and looking for a place to eat that can accomodate large group, good food and nice ambience, this is the place!

Kudos to the management staff 10 star for their service. Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights - with breakfast Room - TV with basic channels, rest room hot water is not working all the time Infinity Pool is located in 2nd floor Food is a bit pricey but reasonable and the serving is generous. Weak WiFi signal from 2nd to 4th floor. Parking lot is not secured Plenty of bars around the area.

Very disappointing experience with the owners and staff. I booked a stay here via hotels.com before the lockdown and paid it in full. Scheduled it in April of 2020. But the pandemic happened so since the reservation rules specifically state that there is no cancellation, I sent a message to their messenger and explained. Gave them as well the booking details. I was told that I can rebook it anytime and it will be an arrangement between me and the management. Of course we kept changing the dates since I was told that Baler was still closed to tourists from NCR and other places and that their staff in charge for reservations/bookings done via hotels.com and the like is not present yet. Early 2022 I asked again about the reservation and if we can finally be accompanied in April for holy week vacation. However, I was told that they are not certain when they will reopen since they are renovating. So I asked of I could just get a refund instead since they didn’t seem inclined to honor my booking. I was finally told that they can’t accommodate me since they couldn’t check about the booking I made in Hotels.com. 2 years! I waited this long for nothing. Now they wouldn’t even take my calls or see my messages. Thw original message I sent and the reply I received from the management is still with me. So they cannot deny that they promised me that it can be rebooked anytime. No word of honor =...

Place is okay. Definitely could use improvement specially for the price they charge, it should come with better service. Personal experience booking the Junior Suite.

Hot shower wasn't working the day I went. The phones in the room was not functional so you cannot call room service and have to find help 3 stories down No wifi Parking is quite far

Other things I noticed Not good if you are with seniors. Saw couple of seniors struggling up stairs and no rooms on ground floor and no elevators. Not handicap friendly Not much of a surfer vibe hotel. No place for you to rinse if you come back from surfing. You have to walk wet through lobby or restaurant which would be awkward If you surf and going to Baler, would still suggest Costa Pacifica if you are looking for a higher end spot to stay.

Pros Junior suite has a nice view facing the ocean and easily see all the breaks in the area. Plus view of...
