Mirka’s Guest House — Hotel in Bantayan Island

Extremly comfortable very light rooms, mattrass, pillows...All facilities are new, clean and very comfortable. Sparkling clean and very good helpfull managing/staff - thank you Bernadette and Daya! The homestay has everything what you need: cooking place, chilled veranda, beautifull garden, everytime sparkling cleaning room, fresh towels and bathroom sets. The room has 3 "zones": living room with a couch and TV, bedroom with a capboard and a kitchen area. Cooking is available only outside, but a teapot, dishes, refregirator are in the room. Near the Mirka's Guesthouse there are some small backery shops, stations with fresh fish, chicken, eggs, small amount of vagetables - so that you can organise you wonderful breakfast yourself and enjoy it on the veranda. Also there is a very good Pizzeria La Filomina near the homestay, where you can enjoy a very tasty Pizza. A Barbar shop and Laundry are near Mirka's home as well. Great family run place. Really made us feel so welcomed and we didn’t regret choosing Mirkas as our temporary home from which to celebrate the New Year. The room was perfectly sized and well equipped with convenient kitchenette and the balcony area was perfect for self-serviced morning breakfasts. Loved playing ping pong with the family and the outside kitchen was really handy too. We highly recommend Mirkas to anyone looking for a quiet family style environment with nice garden views. Our only small suggestion is for the room to have a full length mirror and a little more wardrobe space. We absolutely loved our stay here! we were supposed to stay for just a couple of days but ended up staying for more than a week, the place is near the port around 5mins walk. They have this adorable dog named Mirka, he greeted us once we arrived and is very friendly. The grandkids of the owner said the place has been up since 2016 but their rooms are almost like new, very clean, and spacious. Their grandkids and their cleaner really does a great job at maintaining the place. They have a generator and a well if ever there are blackouts or water shortage in the island, their kitchen is also complete and clean and all the rooms have a balcony.
