MH Metro Hotel — Hotel in Cagayan de Oro

This is a 2 storey budget hotel. With a walking distance trip to Centrio, SM, Gaisano and Limketkai Malls.

The location of this hotel is just perfect. If I were visiting Cagayan de Oro and don't want to fuss over accommodations. Or simply just want a decent room to sleep and recuperate. Then this would be a hotel of high consideration.

If you really want to budget things out, you can even walk towards Cogon market. The street market is the biggest and has all sorts of really affordable items.

Expect to pay 1100-1300 depending on the number of beds. The rooms are straighforward, basic amenities like TV, HD Cable are there. FREE Basic breaksfast is included.

Since it is only 2- storey high, evacuation during earthquakes should not pose much of a problem.

Parking may be quite a challenge since the frontage can only accommodate 3-4 vehicles. You may have to park on the street, which you cannot do during daytime.

There is a convenient car-wash across the hotel called Car24. Should you need a good wash for a vehicle. LCG Car Shop is also at the left side road (when facing the hotel) for car repairs. This road leads to Osmena Street which is famous for car, truck auto parts and accessories. A little Banawe of sorts.

The complex at a 45 degree angle from the hotel exit should have a wide choice of restos for you to check out. Restos such as Yakimix and a host of other brands. For quick items, the complex also has...

Well the room was poorly lighted and the washroom was old . The manager is chinnese and doesnt speak English . I booked 4 rooms and payed in advance and asked if we check out early do we get money back or credit for nights remaining ? I was told that would have to be discussed with manager but wont be problem .||Checked out 1 day early at 9 am and was told we had stayed 3 nights and not 4 they said no Sir its 4 . So after explaining tues...wed....thursaday is only 3 nights they said oh ok Sir hahahhaah||Then was told we could stay another night or come back latter that day .....gezzzz were checking out . Anyway Dont stay here cause place is not that nigce and they dont know what they are doing so find another place in same price range as there is many and better places . New Dawn hotel might be a choice or G galyx just up the road from them and rooms nicer and cheaper .||When I went there I asked to see room and none could be seen so went back second time and none to be seen so thats why I took chance and booked there .....dont make same...

We had a convention at Limketkai and mostly all the hotels are fully booked and we have no choice to stay here. Rm120 heater not functioning and no action made after the complaint. After my side trip to other islands, I had a late check into Rm111 when I came back and requested for a late checkout. Somebody keep on calling during midnight hours that I thought I had emergency call and when I ask the reception they ask me to just hang up the phone. No manners when asking me if wouldn't check out at 1 pm they will automatically charge me after that. No more next time to...
