Ezeniel's Place — Hotel in Cebu City

Worst booking ever! I booked this place a month before the specified date for my sister and three others to stay, yet when they arrived in the hotel, they were told it was cancelled. The owner didn't notify my sister beforehand even though they spoke on the phone two days before the intended date of arrival. The owner even asked for the down payment at the time yet it was just cancelled all of a sudden. They wasted their time going there for nothing. They even have to wait there for an hour or two so they'll get the refund back and have to constantly ring the owner. I wouldn't recommend booking...

We were 3 adults (including 1 elderly) and 2 kids (both 2 years old). The owner asked me to cancel the booking, saying the electricity was cut off. But there was also a note saying the unit was already booked by someone else — which was very confusing.

We traveled a long way, carrying lots of luggage and things, plus two small children — it was not easy. That’s why we booked in advance, to secure a place to stay, but this is what happened.

They didn’t even offer any help, like a discount, coupon, or recommendation for another place. The owner was very insensitive and heartless....
