As a traveller, I'm used to getting what I pay for...and sometimes I don't. I tend not to make a big fuss over it but move on and tick off the hotel from my list of accommodations to go or recommend to my friends. Having visited another establishment owned by the same firm and having been pleased with my experience, I decided to come by this hotel to see if they have the same DNA and I'm happy to say they do. ||||Rianne Hotel has many of the hallmarks of more expensive establishments but their friendly prices mean you're getting all the benefits at a much lower cost. The hotel is new and shows a well thought out and classy interior, likely from a skilled interior designer. ||||Their rooms are not overly huge but then everything one expects to find is there. Internet connection for guests is exceedingly good and ensured business travellers can be more productive than using an undependable wifi connection at a coffee shop. Their beds are new, comfortable and clean. Their staff are well trained. They're fairly new so you're bound to face a few delays here or there but on the whole, they do a good job serving their patrons.||||I've been to other business hotels that focus on giving you a place to sleep and not bother with anything else, such as - food. This hotel serves very good food, no different from their sister hotel, Griffin. I was very impressed at their large servings and just as happy with their cost. Let's just say it's heavy on the stomach but light on the pocket. And the great thing about it is the ambiance of the restaurant and lobby is conducive to conducting meetings without having to go to another venue. ||However, should one feel the need to head elsewhere, it's good to know you're just a skip and a hop away from grabbing a ride, be it a taxi or a commuter jeepney. The location is most suitable for those conducting business in Cebu as they are located in the middle of every major hospital, business establishments and tourist places. There's no major mall nearby but the convenience of getting a ride pretty much mitigates that. ||||I spoke to a senior staff and I'm told their owners went into the hospitality business with one intent - offer great value for money to their patrons because this is the engine that will drive bookings. And indeed I think it worked with the coming and goings of the guests during my stay. ...

Read moreA great accommodation especially if you’re in a budget. I’m giving a rundown on what I like about this property and what also can be improved.
The staffs plus the guard are ABSOLUTELY friendly and accommodating. They make sure to attend to your needs and with a smile, as well.
With the price, you already get such a spacious room with free breakfast so value for money is good.
Wi-Fi connection is real fast.
Hotel’s location is pretty much near everything.
The window in our room is faced by a wall. There is no way that natural light can seep into our room so we were stuck with gloomy, yellow-tint lights for the rest of our stay.
Taxis had a hard time figuring out the location of the place.
No hangers on the closet and no rack to put your towels in by the bathroom.
Overall, it’s still a good place to stay. If ever we have to book a place in the city, I’ll be sure to book in this...
