Pensionne la Florentina — Hotel in Cebu City

I arrived at the hotel on a Tuesday at past 2pm. My room wasn't made up. I had to leave my bags, headed for work and return late at night. I was handed the key and gave my deposit. My bags were still under the chairs where i left off. I had to bring it up myself. No attendant.||||The next day was the worst experience of my life.||||I was denied entry because they had to collect the payment first before i can come in. It was past 10pm. I explained to them that I will pay upon check out on a Friday and had already made a one night deposit. After an hour of explaining, I rest my case. Told them i'll settle it the next morning since i had a long day at work and was very exhausted. At that point all i want is to have a good night rest. They were adamant.||||I was sleepless that night. Return to an office where AC unit is turned off at 6pm. That was the most humiliating night I have ever experienced.||||I settled the bill the next morning. They charged me 2 nights. Yes! They charged me the night they bumped me off. They're charging me for not sleeping in their bed. They charge me despite the humiliation i received that night and the moral embarrassment. Sleepless and weak, I didn't bother to argue. Pack my stuff, and endure another pain loading my 3 bags, up and down the stairs, one at a time. There was no assistance. Nothing.||||More than the money, it's the principle of fair treatment, consideration, humane engagement and empathy, should have been part of their core values. After all, they are into a business industry where people engagement gives them revenue.||||This is my 5th at definitely my last stay in this...

Stayed here both the night of arrival and night if departure.||Place has security and is near the Ayala mall for something to do.||It's one of the cheapest places we found in Cebu near a mall or safe places to visit at night. ||Don't get the criticism of it being exoensive, it's cheap for Cebu City which isn't necessary the same prices as outside of the city. ||Rooms are clean, Aircon works on both we stayed in and showers can be hot if desired. Toilet paper, soap and towels provided.||Perfect for a night or two...

stayed here twice. internet is pretty fast as long as ur in second floor.3rd & 4th flr is an issue. ac is pretty much cool. affordable price. walking distance at ayala mall and 1 ride to sm. i would recommend and stay here again.. but i hope they have a cellphone number to contact if in case of reservation vs landline #. they are pretty accommodating but a little bit slow and staff leaves at 10pm i think.. only sec. guard will assist u... the interior feels like im at my lola's house...
