If you’re heading to Pusô Bistro & Bar in Quest Hotel, Cebu, let me set your expectations: the atmosphere is lovely, the staff are fantastic, but let’s just say… don’t arrive hungry if you’re expecting top-tier cuisine. First off, a huge shoutout to Erick (the manager) and Guelbert (the bartender). These two are absolute gems—professional, attentive, and the kind of people who make you feel like royalty, even if the kingdom around you is a little… chaotic. Honestly, their service was the highlight of the night. As for the food, well, let’s call it a missed opportunity. The buffet was overrun in no time and not restocked fast enough, leaving diners circling the empty trays like vultures. Dietary restrictions? Forget about it. If you’re gluten-free, the options are practically nonexistent. It’s almost as if the menu comes with a silent disclaimer: “Best of luck!” Adding to the mayhem, the dining experience lacked structure. Guests were darting from station to station with little rhyme or reason. Some tables seemed to have been blessed by the gods of customer service, while others (like mine) were left to fend for themselves. Getting attention from the staff was hit-or-miss, which is a shame because, when you do, they’re absolutely lovely. In the end, the people and the atmosphere carry this place—just don’t expect the food to do any heavy lifting. If you’re after a vibrant vibe and great service (from the right employees), it’s worth a visit. But if food is your main focus, you might want to look elsewhere.

I am disappointed at this dinner buffet (July 05, 2024) I recently returned to the Philippines after 5 years in living overseas . I remember way back 2017 that Puso Restaurant was the best all day dining in Cebu. Unfortunately, during my stay it was a disaster! The buffet was already running out of food at 8pm whilst the buffet was still open until 11:00 pm. No server came to entertain us in the entire dinner service. i had finished my Main course before water was served. No beverage menu was offered during the meal period ! And no chef’s in the live stations! No one was able to dish out our plate even after the dessert. The buffet cost 1000 php per head while the food was not good at all and selection was less. I will never return to this Restaurant. No one was doing their Job properly except for the Hostess and Supervisor who assist us after the complain.

Tried their breaksfast buffet. They had a variety of food choices that's enough to satisfy your morning meal. Buffet spread was not as much compared to other hotels I've visited. Bacon was a winner for me. Mixed seafood, fried tomato and strawberry yogurt are some of my favorites as well. They also have an in-house taho. Recognized as Sunstar Best of CEBU 2018 - Best Breakfast Buffet I'll give 5 stars to the friendly manager (if I'm not mistaken) Sir Allan who approached our table and had a quick chit chat. Some things I asked and he shared below: Breakfast Buffet - P600 Lunch Buffet - P700 Dinner Buffet - P850 -Less P100 for all BPO employees. -50% Discount for Lunch Buffet to all Senior Citizen (daily) 👍👍 - 50% for kids 6-12 yrs (not based on height) - below 6 yrs old - Free

Love the place so much! They may have fewer food selections than the other hotels in Cebu but each dish is surprisingly good and your 1,100php (Dinner) is definitely worth it.

I highly recommend the following: Roasted Beef - so soft, smokey, and tasty. The gravy goes very well with it along with the baby potatoes and sweet potatoes. Pizza - for a buffet, it was actually good. You can really taste the cheese that they use as toppings. The dough is soft too. Fish nuggets - I usually prefer chicken over fish but this fish nuggets is SOOO GOOD. The breading is perfect. Very crispy and the fish is well-seasoned and it even gets better dipped with the tartar sauce. Ebi tempura - I love how they made the breading. It's so crispy and tasty that you won't need to dip it with soy sauce. It is perfect by itself. Ice cream - they had 4 flavors (vanilla, choco, strawberry, & ube) and i only got to try vanilla and it is sooo creamy. I tried to top it with colorful sprinkles. 10/10

Will definitely come back to...
