Overall impression: Unless you enjoy having to call downstairs over and over and having no wifi, skip-it.

I'm going to be generous and give this two stars for everything It could just be a cultural thing and that this is a level of standard for a hotel and I'm judging it too harshly but going based off of the reviews of this being a three star hotel:

Whenever I called reception for any issue there is always a good 3-5 minute wait but polite enough. Issue is that you have to call down for hot water to getting the QR code, to wifi that never worked. One day I skipped the shower just cuz I don't have to deal with calling down and waiting for maintenance yet again. Night before leaving I had to call for maintenance to come up at 12:30am. Said they would need to get a plumber to actually fix the the broken toilet - and they say they have to replace it. It felt I called a lot because things kept going wrong.

Upon entering you can tell this place is really old. was initially given 2312 but it faced a hotel with a loud booming bar so was moved to the floor 19.

Floors 6-18 quest hotel and 19+ are residents rentals. I rented a residence because I thought there was a washer - my mistake. Wish I had gone hotel.

Floor 19 you can still hear road noise. Honking - is a consistent thing at every hour. I didn't expect the room to look exactly like the photos (I hoped) but those photos are a good 10 years old. The room had a smell of musty water. The smell never went away!!

Kitchen had 1 pot & 1 small pan. The faucet has never been clean and was utterly disgusting so you wouldn't want any water out of it. Couple of bowls and plates were provided. No cleaning supplies - not suitable at all. Not that you would necessarily want to even use the kitchen I purchased single use items and food that didn't require me to use beyond the microwave.

The worst has to be the Wi-Fi. Down mostly and up only rarely. Maint came and watched my phone connect and disconnect and basically said they would monitor it. Having maintenance come up and reset the router and the Wi-Fi receiver didn't make for any difference and the Wi-Fi was down consistently more than it was up. When it connected would be 2.4 rate. Maint also said I was too far away to get 5G consistently.

Things that were not as advertised: no supplied coffee or tea No slipper or robe no mini bar did not see clothes drying rack Wi-Fi only works in your room - when it rarely works not 24/7 reception (told they are there for the hotel at 7:30pm) All information is based on a QR code that is not located in the room or given to you at check in. public areas are not AC

The bed was definitely comfortable. Bathroom is extremely small and even difficult for one person to move around. There were some bathroom amenities like q-tips and cotton balls. Had to reach out to maint after taking a cold shower. The couch is not what I would call comfortable with no back to it. Cleanliness is definitely an issue as there's food left between the glass and table. Water jug also leaked.

The only shining experience I had during my stay was the two times I ordered room service it was very good. And I definitely enjoyed the walking distance to the large area mall.

Looking back I would rather stay at a hotel because I didn't use the kitchen beyond the refrigerator. You will need to buy single use items for your short stay anyway so there's no advantage that I found to staying here.

I would definitely not define this as a comfortable or relaxing stay.  When returning to the area I'll most likely just book a hotel or triple check that there's a washer in my unit...

This was my second stay at Quest. I had a short stop before my flight out of Cebu and needed some place close to a mall for last minute shopping.

I already called in advance regarding my stay and know that early check in was always on best effort basis. Inbound flight was delayed so I wasn’t in a great mood when I arrived at 14:45. Room was “not ready”. Considering that check out time in this property was 11:00, there was ample time to prepare the rooms so I didn’t buy the explanation but it was what it was. I asked when the rooms will be ready… no clear reply but the staff said that they will email and message me.

Then I asked if they could remove the contents of the refrigerator in my room, since I keep my soda and canned juice intake as low as possible. His reply? I have to pay to have someone remove those. In over twenty years of traveling, this was the first time I’ve ever heard of any charge like this.

I went out and before I knew it, it was 15:45 but neither message nor email came. I called the hotel again and was told that a room was ready.

I rushed back and was greeted by a lady who, instead of apologizing, brusquely told me they sent a message. But I constantly checked my local number and email and told her so. I turned to try and get my luggage from the concierge, no one was there so I just grabbed them and took my things upstairs.

My plans were ruined that afternoon and I had to rush to meet family for dinner, which was in a less than ideal place since I didn’t have the chance to properly check for options.

Later I received a call from Laurence… the first time anyone ever apologized for the lacking welcome. It was great to hear a sympathetic voice and he tried to make amends. I didn’t want to make a fuss about it but told him to check the room. It needs TLC but I don’t want to pack my things, move and only to pack them again since I had an early flight the next morning.

My room had a firm, large bed. Okay for sleep TBH, air conditioning was freezing and I often had to turn it off.

Some issues… the sink needs replacement as there was a crack. There was a panel under the window that had a dirty rage stuck to it, presumably to prevent it from opening. And the windows need double glazing. My room faced the street and the noise levels ranged from 40-60dbA, which is loud when you need to sleep. Closing the curtains didn’t help.

The best thing in my stay was the gym. The trainer there was Amazing with a capital A. I think his name was Arman. I wish the hotel would feature him and the gym on their website and social media because, from resources online, it looked like they only had a few cardio machines but the reality was that they have much much more than that. One can have a pretty decent workout there.

Breakfast was good. Decent selection. Interestingly, while brewed coffee was free flowing, americano and other espresso based drinks are subject to payment.

My departure (at 3am) was much warmer than my arrival. The concierge was very friendly and the hotel provided drive to the...

I stayed in your hotel Oct 19 to 20 , 2025.This is my first time to stay in Quest hotel. I am pleased with my experience. In terms of the following| 1. The friendliness and welcoming vibe of the staff from the reception and your doormen stood out. |2. The breakfast spread was really satisfying and hearty. The refills on the buffet tables are taken cared off . We dont need to call the attention of the servers for refills. The waiters are attentive to our needs. |3. The cold chocolate drink was the star of the breakfast buffet!! I think your cold coco drink would be my reason for coming back to Quest hotel Cebu. |( you have to thank you cold coco for that) |Here are some rooms for improvement|1. The phone in my room is not working . And there are no quick and ready alternatives for me to call the reception or operator. Since i checked in late, all I wanted to do was to hit the sack for a rest , I wouldnt have all the energy to still go down and report the non- functioning phone. The receiver of the phone smells bad too.|2. And with the non functioning phone . On my check out date ( Oct 20) I have to carry my luggage and my 2 pasalubong boxes all the way down by myself.| On my way to the elevator juggling my luggages and 2 pasalubong boxes on both hands . I chanced upon 2 or 3 hotel staff along the corridors who looks like bell hops walking ....not one bothered to offer help to carry my luggage or my boxes. |3. On the day of our check in ( Oct 19 around 8pm) we couldnt find a bell hop to help us with our bags to go up to our rooms. A staff ( which I presumed was from your security) told us that the bell hops assisted some guests with their luggages and we are told to wait. From somebody who had a loooong day and was tired that is the last thing that we wanted to do, to wait... So we just carried our own luggages up to our rooms.|Does Quest have a shortage of bell hops on duty...

Clearly, people have different standards but the folks raving about the food here need to get out more. I've stayed here a couple of times and the hotel is fine for the price class that it's in. However, neither the breakfast nor dinner buffets are 'amazing' or 'superb', like some bogans would have you believe. These people have obviously never encountered a truly 'superb' buffet but I guess it's all relative. If my breakfast bacon is deep-fried and still dripping in oil, the 'fruit juice' is more like cordial, when they include 'home-made Spam' (yes, really) and the 'coffee' is like insipid dishwater I think the word 'average' is far more appropriate. Just because there's a bunch of shiny bain-maries lined up and you can shove your face endlessly doesn't make something 'superb' unless you have a food fetish and get aroused by the sheer quantity of it, regardless of quality. Tonight I thought I'd risk havin' a pizza... description on the menu looked mildly promising with mozzarella, pepperoni, pomodoro and even some olive oil listed as the main ingredients. Alas, pizza dough was unpleasantly spongy without much flavour with no crust to speak of. Pepperoni was of the cardboard variety and I can pretty much guarantee you there was no mozzarella on that pizza. Instead, a rather disgusting cheese spread featured prominently, all of this for PHP700. So yeah, not impressed but in a city where finding a decent meal requires some serious exploration I'm not surprised. Unless you're happy to eat mall food or lukewarm carinderia meals, Cebu is a long way from being on the Asia food map. * House of Lechon in Acacia St. does do excellent lechon and other dishes. * Amongst others, Pakals on Maxilom does decent local meals and has a good spot upstairs to hang out.
