This is our favorite spot to have shabu-shabu in the city. The base soup is a bit too salty, but it is overall great-tasting and flavorful. We love to order extra beef balls and premium beef slices to add to our usual soup. We have been here more times than I can count and all of the staff have always been consistently pleasant and accommodating as well very quick to respond to your requests. It is no wonder that this place is so popular and always packed! This branch is currently closed due to renovations though, which is sad because this is the closest and most convenient for us. If you just eat some of the things in the set, you might as well just customize your own and you get to eat more of what you like! My recommended set would be meat, noodles, mushroom liquid meal, Tao pwe, vegetables and black fungus (bok nee).
