Had my first ever Kaya toast here, and it did not disappoint❣️🙌 The thick blocks of butter were very rich, creamy, and decadent. 💛🤤 Will definitely order again ASAP. ✊️ I also personally loved how there was more quality egg yolk than expected (most of the Kaya toast vids I've watched featured soft boiled eggs with a lot of egg whites). 🧡 The Roti Gluay (Thai banana pancake) was also quite a delectable, sweet snack. ✨️ I enjoyed the crisp of the thin pancake, which was then immediately followed by the soft texture of the banana. 😋 The drizzled sweet condensed milk was notably a perfect topping as the banana was slightly sour. I also ordered Cà phê muối (iced Viet. coffee with salted cream), and it was one of the best foodie decisions I've ever made. 🖤🤍 The salted cream mixed with the strong, quality coffee delightfully helped cut through the sweetness of the two aforementioned dishes. 🙂‍↕️ Additionally, I sincerely appreciated how the staff accommodated my request to lessen the sweetness of the drink to 25%. 🙏 *Note: They only accept CASHLESS payments. Overall, such a fun and cute place ✨️ 'Twas bigger than expected, and the seats were creatively decorated to represent the nearby SEA countries (e.g., Thailand, SG, Vietnam, etc.). The staff was also friendly and attentive. Despite only having 1–2 servers at that time, the service was still quick and smooth. ✨️ Can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu. 💖

I've only had their famous Pad Thai from their Sugbo Mercado outlet before so I was glad tp try their other offerings. We had their Tom Yum, Salt and Pepper Tofu, Crispy Pork Belly, Vietnamese Spring Rolls and of course Pad Thai. All were delectable except for some of the sauces on the pork belly which were not suited for my liking but still very good experience overall. The serving size for their platter was on the smaller siide especially the pad thai (you are better of having solo orders if you want a bigger share) The space was an organized mess that evoked a treasure chest full of southeast asian trinkets splattered all over to evoke a the busy and colorful streets of the different countries that inspired their menu. The seats were just a bit uncomfortable and the table we were on was rocky but still had a good dinner experience.

While wandering around in search of a place to eat, I stumbled upon this cozy restaurant. The ambiance carries a strong Asian influence, and I was pleasantly surprised to find culinary books available for reading while waiting for my meal. I decided to try the regular Com Ga Nong, paired with Cha Yen, which I believe are Vietnamese dishes. Although the food took a while to arrive, I didn’t mind since I was engrossed in skimming through their collection of culinary books. Being unfamiliar with Vietnamese cuisine, I found that the Com Ga Nong didn’t quite match my taste preferences. However, it was enjoyable, especially when the chicken was paired with the side dish. The sauce, however, felt a bit off to me. On the other hand, the Cha Yen was absolutely delightful and undoubtedly their best-selling drink.

They are under new management! What a disappointment! The menu has no descriptions at all, only photos with the text solo or overload. No idea what you are ordering. So I ordered a solo. According to the photo, there should be an egg, vegetables, big piece of meat. But I got some dry rice, rather small piece of meat and some slices of onion. When we complained about it, the answer was that the photo was the overload meal. This is just ripping of costumers. When it was time to pay they told us no cash! This should have informed us when entering the restaurant. The food was not good, just OK. This is not the banana pancake trail anymore. Sorry but I will never go back!

A reaction on the owner's comments: It was stated that customers prefer straightforward dish names. However, I don’t think "Com Thit Nuong" qualifies as straightforward. What’s the point of having a menu if you still need to ask the staff to explain it?

When we asked the waiter what was in the dish, he said it would be pork. In my opinion, there’s a big difference between pork and pork belly. Regular pork contains about 2–30% fat, while pork belly contains around 70–90% fat. It would have been helpful if the waiter had explained that more precisely.

The waiter also did not clearly or politely explain the difference between “solo” and “overload.” The only explanation we got was that one dish had chicken and the other had pork. That was it.

The photos on the menu are extremely misleading. I’m not naive—I don’t expect a Michelin-star dish for 299 PHP—but the photos are simply not representative of what you actually get.

I’m sorry that the waiter had to use his personal credit card. But if there's no sign on the door or at the table saying that only cashless payments are accepted, this situation could have easily been avoided. I also think it’s very customer-unfriendly not to accept cash at all.

We were regulars, so we know how things were before. We liked the place, but unfortunately, that has changed with the...

WE HAVE BEEN VERY LOYAL CUSTOMERS BUT ARE NOT COMING BACK!!!! Ordered food panda which didn’t arrive due to rider unavailability. It was understandable because it was a raining today so we were not mad. I was told that my order was cancelled and that foodpanda had already paid banana pancake trail for the P960 order because of the rider miscue. I still wanted the food so I sent someone to pick up the food at the restaurant itself and pay for it. In other words, the restaurant amade a sale of the items to foodpanda would have made another sale to me for the same items. Inspite of that and to my surprise Banana Pancake asked me to pay an additional P140 because only foodpanda kuno ang discounted. Bagaa sad ninyo ug nawng uy. You are charging a loyal customer who even spent gas to have the food picked up an additional amount for something that you already have been paid for by FoodPanda!!!! In other words nag double sale na mo unya gipakapinan pa gyud. Your food is good but there’s something really wrong about this policy. The person I spoke with said that they were mere employees and could had to follow your policy. Your employees are not robots. At least give them the discretion to make decisions - especially in cases which are patently unfair and nonsensical. A person with common sense would have agreed to the sale to me at P960 coz you were already paid by Foodpanda. What were you going yo do with food that was already sitting there for at least an hour and a half - recycle it for new customers? Anyway, you lost a loyal customer and I will pass on this unfortunate experience to...
