My mom and i went here after a LONG day of island hopping. This is a tapas place, so we ordered quite a few things.
We ordered the brochetas de pollo crujiente, which were delicious. They were crispy on the outside, and the chicken was juicy. The mustard dipping sauce complimented it very well!
We also got shrimp croquetas. While the flavor was great and they were crispy on the outside, they were cold in the middle.
The patatas alioli were crispy on the outside but not overcooked or dried out. The were surprisingly creamy inside despite being small cubes. The aioli dipping sauce was great.
The hummus was the star for us because we were tired and hot, and it was just so cool and refreshing. Would highly recommend it.
We both got the tinto de verano to drink. It's red wine with lemon-lime soda. It was so nice and refreshing and complimented our food well.
For a tapas place, the portions were bigger than I expected and we didn't finish everything, but our bill was a little...
Read moreVisited here with a group of 15 people and was somewhat disappointed with the food based off the reviews. We ordered in 3 groups. They took the orders of the first 2 groups and left us waiting. Then the others were getting food nobody came to take our other. In the end, we called over the waitress to order. When our food came out, it came all at the one time despite ordering 5 different dishes. Given this is tapas we would have expected them to come out bit by bit. It felt as if they had forgot about us and then rushed our service to get us out so that they could close up. Even when the food came it was all quiet basic. One of the dishes we ordered was potato with chorizo and egg and it was literally chopped potato and 2 fried eggs on top with 4 slices of chorizo. It would have been much nicer if this was cooked they way it should have been on the pan all mixed together.
All in all I don't think I'd be rushing back to here based on the food...
Read moreOrdered croquetas with shrimp and they gave me croquetas with iberico ham. It didn't taste like shrimps but it was part of a mix inside the croqueta so I thought it was me who just didn't taste it. On the bill it said it was ham. I don't eat pig, so it's pretty messed up. Having 1 person order 1 item, not even drinks... you should get that right. The waitress then kept repeating I asked for ham, which is quite unprofessional and impossible since I don't eat pig. She offered to have it for free, but was still blaming me. So I said I'd pay half because I don't want to be responsible for anyone having to compensate. That being said, it was just messed up. Also long waiting time to get the food. There's many people who don't eat pig for several reasons, so they need to be more careful with that.
The owner seemed very friendly though and the taste of the...
