Jaijai’s Backpackers — Hotel in Coron

We had a really wonderful stay at Jai Jai Backpackers. Jerald and his family are kind and hospitable. The room was ready on time- no problems at all! They provided amenities such as filtered water, a electric mosquito racket, and a tv. There are some mosquitos outside (it is the Philippines after all!) but the citronella incense sticks provided really helped. Bring bug repellent- you’ll need it everywhere in Coron! We enjoyed their breakfast options (American and Filipino). The hot shower was definitely a plus (not available everywhere in Coron). Best of all, they treated us like family....

I can highly recommend this place. You will have a great clean room with good AC. The shower is with very good water pressure and warm water. You have a small kitchenette, so you can make your own breakfast if you want but there is also breakfast available. The location is perfect because it is in a quiet neighborhood and still close to the main road with all the restaurants, you can walk there. We enjoyed our stay here. Good location a short walk from town. Super nice family run it. Clean rooms, nice shower, comfortable bed, drinking water dispenser with hot and cold, tv, etc... Very quiet location except from a few roosters in the morning. But that's to be expected. If arriving by ferry the tricycles try and charge you 200php to reach the property.
