We didn’t have a choice but go to this place almost every day for a week we were in Coron since they are the most decent coffee shop in the area (along Real). Coffee was good, with options for non- dairy (almond and soy, no oatmilk). I have been ordering the iced tagbanua with a splash of almond milk, have ordered the iced almond rocca, healthy yogurt oat bowls (they make their own yogurt), friends have ordered the omelette, meatloaf, grilled brie panini, pulled pork adobo and more from the menu.

While the food is ok and sure, a bit overpriced, what’s really frustrating about this place is the service esp from that lady who is at the cashier taking orders. Oh and she is pretty consistent in giving a horrible service.

One instance was when the iced coffee spilled on my leg and we asked for a napkin (yes they served food without it) and she saw my leg was up coz it was dripping
instead of her treating it with urgency, she didn’t bother to simply hand us a napkin (our table was JUST in front of her) all because a foreigner stood up and started paying his bill. Worst, as I patiently waited there, she got up to look for a change for 30 pesos — this is where I obviously called her attention.

Next day, same lady - I gave my order, she said ok but sat down as she was reviewing a “sheet” with n older lady (not in uniform) until the older lady said “mamya na yan., unahin mo muna order nya”
and I was like, “omg thank you. Owner po kayo? Kase everyday ganyan service nya, walang kwenta and need ng training po”. The old lady said she wasn’t the owner but insteas apologized.

These are just a couple, we also experienced challenges in the service of the other crew.

I can recommend this place if you don’t have a choice but probably don’t dine in and have them to go.. not unless you have all the patience in the world, give...

Skip this place for the below reasons:

  1. Their Frappe’s are the worst I have ever had globally, despite them charging the same as a Starbucks.
  2. Then to top it off they provide a paper straw that is far to narrow to consume a Frappe through which then softens before the drink can be consumed. They appear to not realize cold drinks are consumed at a casual pace.
  3. There prices are falsely advertised as they mandate a “service charge” which amounts to nothing more than a 8% mandatory increase in prices that they know in advance and fail to include it in their prices posted on the pricing board. Be ethical and post the correct price. It is a matter of principle.
  4. The Frappe size is small by comparison.
  5. No courtesy WiFi for customers according to my gf.
  6. The bathroom door lock doesn’t work properly, resulting in my girlfriend getting stuck in the bathroom, go figure. In summary they are far from a western experience, however they charge a western price. Think about the gall of that, they pay filipino wages to staff and have Filipino input costs along with shaving on the quality and quantity. A very poor...

Got here before the crowd did (there are only a few tables to sit at), & despite it not being air-conditioned, there are fans around so it's comfortable to bum around & chill. Self-service water is available near the entrance, but coffee water. The coffee options here are quite varied & the latte (120 PHP small, 140 PHP large) was pretty tasty.

Food wise, they have some nice brunch options - the Egg Cheese Tomato Panini (260 PHP) was simple, but toasted to perfection (YASSS BREAD). My bowl of Granola with Fresh Fruits & Honey (280 PHP), however, was nothing special. It was alright, the mangoes were sweet! Thankful they didn't overdo the honey so this, in its entirety, wasn't too sweet. The latte was better.

Unfortunately, there is no WiFi here - so I didn't stay here for long after I finished my food & drink, because I'm a data whore like that 😂

đŸ“¶ No WiFi available 💩 Water available,...

Nice coffee spot that serves breakfast all day. This is connected to the Poco Deli and you can get their drinks and cakes over there too. I came in because I wanted to check out the place after having lunch at Poco Deli. We had the rocky road cake (4/5, nice and light) and the Belgian chocolate cake (3.5, dense and sweeter than expected with the dark chocolate) and a couple of coffee drinks (4/5 for the cappuccino and the cookies and creme frappe, all the coffee in the Philippines has been great. Maybe I am just used to mediocre coffee back in the states, lol) . Cakes were about 200 pesos a piece, same with the coffee drinks. Would definitely recommend. I didn’t try the breakfast would heard good things and everything we had here and Pock Deli was solid.
