Princess of Coron Resort — Hotel in Coron

We arrived at the hotel and our names were not in the system. When we have a tour they are not cooperating they want us to contact the travel agent and the tour guide. At first glance it did not look bad then you start to notice details, like the paint peeling from the bottom of the pool, not much chlorine in the pool, plants in old tires for landscaping, with beer bottles lining the walkway. The room we stayed in did not look like the pictures that we were shown at the travel agency. The door was very cheap with no deadbolt lock. There is no room phone if there is an emergency. the windows were glass block, with no view (a prison cell has a better view) the walls had deep cracks in them on both sides of the room, also all of the support pillars on the balcony appeared to be missing due to an earthquake at some point during its life, this could be the reason the walls are cracked in the inside, because of the lack of structural support on the outside of the building. The air conditioning in the room was noisy all night, there were no toiletries except a bar of soap and two bath towels, there was only one sheet on the bed? There is no room safe. There is no refrigerator. The lighting was very dim with only one light switch no night lights, there was not very much pressure in the shower, the floors were dirty. The street at night is very dim and scary if you were to walk back alone at night. It was very hard to get the complimentary breakfast even when ordered the night before, and no coffee ready in the morning. The staff are unfriendly especially the breakfast staff. When we confronted the owner regarding the staff and the hotel she told us to leave. So this tells me she only cares about the money not the quality. The WiFi is very poor everywhere in...

Pinili ko tong hitel kasi ang ganda ng reviews. But sa naexperience ko. Nkakaiyak isiping I paid them to give me stress. Dumating kami ng POC last Apr. 22. No one welcomed us there. we have to go to the reception area for us to feel welcome 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Apr 23. 2nd day. we waited our breakfast from 7am-9am. I ordered our breakfast on our 1st day. so I expect in the dining area thwy will serve us our breakfast. but we only waited there for nothing. so I ask the staff where's our breakfast. The staff ask me if I ordered breakfast then theyre insisting its not written in their logbook. I told them ask the receptionist. No one did. so I did it myself. It's 9am already and our pick up came already. they only gave us the breakfast telling you can take it and eat it during tour 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ we didn't enjoy the kayangan lake because were hungry. 3rd day last day. we waited for our pick up transfer to airport from 6:30 to 8am. according to POC they communicated it with JY to pick us at 7am. someone came 7:15am but theyre looking for some other clients so we dont know that we was the one theyre looking for. 7:30am i called the JY and POC staff because still no one is there to pick us our flight was 9:15am. according to JY driver, POC staff insisted that the client of JY was Picked up already. so the driver left already without insisting that they have another client for pick up. thank you POC for contacting another van transfer to pick us. but the driver insist that we need to pay for the transfer. so I paid another amount. small but nice room. nice ambiance. nice place. but the staff, specially their communication...

The first room we were put in had no windows and felt more like a prison cell than a hotel room. There were hoard of flies just outside the door and we later found out they have infested the door frame.

We requested a change of room and had to paid 500 pesos / night for the room upgrade. The new room we were put in it's by the pool on the second floor. It was better than the original room but still not what I would call comfortable.

There was a leaking sink that the bathroom floor would be wet if you use the sink. The bathroom door doesn't stay close the was vents in the bathroom that doesn't have windows to close so AC would leak out. AC is not cold enough and quite hot during the night.

The cabinets were dusty and moldy my wife was bitten by bugs in the room we could tell what kind of bug bit her. but there were dozens of bite marks. There is a friendly cat that roams around the room door so it could be fleas from the cat. The cat while being friendly decided to bring us a half eaten dead bird on the first night. So that was a shock.

The staffs are friendly and nice.

The pool is nice especially on the relaxing day not during island hopping or diving.
