DO NOT BOOK HERE !!! I hope this review will prevent you from making the same mistake we did. We are digital nomads and it was clear from the way this hostel advertised itself that we would be staying there. But to our surprise, the experience was far from what we expected. In short: exorbitant prices for the rooms you get, many other customers have also left and asked for refunds from Rose, the person in charge of selling the rooms, no consideration for any complaints you may have, empty apologies with no action, internet connection that is 15 mbps at best, while they boast about having 100 mbps. Keep in mind that other hostels in the city, even just a kilometer away, offer 150 mbps. The pool is not cleaned, no water filtration system, a kitchen that is clearly unsanitary and not shown in any photos, no hostel atmosphere, no organized activities. The staff only apologizes after you point out issues (e.g. frozen food bought at the market when they cleaned the fridge, toiletry bags completely submerged in water with all the makeup ruined), a zip-line that they don't mention on their website, so expect noise every day, also note that dogs can bark anytime when you work or have a call no one will say a word, you have a view ruined by the construction of villas right in front. The only positive thing about this hostel is the view, which again belongs to the restaurant, Lexias, and a simple meal there will suffice.
I will also post this review on TripAdvisor with photos to illustrate my points. Do not be fooled, they boast about having good wifi and a great location, but it is the complete opposite. The hostels in the city are much better! Also, please note that my complaints have been brought to the attention of the people who present themselves as the managers of the hostel, we left 10 days before the end of our reservation and no apology was given, except for "you need to buy a modem for internet and be more open to the country as a foreigner." 850€ a month in such a dump for the service they offer is a joke. We had reserved three private rooms for a group of six people, and unfortunately, two of the rooms had rat infestations, while the third room had no water supply. The presence of rats became even more distressing when one of them accidentally fell onto a friend from the bed's ladder while she was lying in it. Additionally, the overall cleanliness of the hostel was severely lacking, with visible dust and dirt suggesting that proper cleaning had not taken place for a significant period, possibly weeks. Also pool was not working at all and WiFi or network had no signal in the rooms (they advertise as workspace not sure how?) ||Upon discovering these problems, we promptly reported the issues to the hotel manager, providing photos of the rat as a evidence. The manager acknowledged the seriousness of the situation and offered to refund us for the remaining three nights of our reservation. We appreciated the gesture and decided to relocate to another hotel with more sanitary conditions.||However, despite the manager's initial assurance that the refund would be processed on the same day, it has been an unexpectedly prolonged period of six weeks, and we have yet to receive the reimbursement. The hotel's explanations for the delay have been unconvincing, with repeated promises that the refund would be made 'soon.' Regrettably, the hotel has now ceased responding to our messages and calls, leaving us without any further updates or resolution.||We find this entire experience highly disappointing and frustrating. Our expectations for a clean and comfortable stay were not met, and the hotel's lack of responsiveness and accountability in addressing the situation have only added to our disappointment.
