NO ACCESIBLE. NOTA. Our biggest mistake was deciding to stay a few more nights and requesting a better-located room with fewer stairs from reception. They offered us a beachfront room, warning us of a significant price difference. We accepted, convinced we'd be getting a better stay. The next day, out of curiosity, we decided to check the prices online and were surprised: they were 50% cheaper than what we had paid. We went to reception to discuss this, hoping for at least an explanation or some kind of courtesy, but the response was cold and lacking in empathy: "They should have booked that online." It was another travel lesson: it's always good to check prices through different channels before agreeing to changes, to be sure of the room conditions, and not to assume that an upgrade offered at the hotel will always be the best option. INGLES The Orange Pearl Resort has a prime beachfront location and offers excellent views, but unfortunately, that's where its positive points end. The hotel feels unfinished, with poor construction and a state of repair that leaves much to be desired. Access is difficult, with a steep slope that makes it difficult for cars to enter. The reception is functional, nothing more. The dining room is pleasant, but the food is value for money high for what it offers. As for the rooms, those in the buildings have mediocre views, except for those directly overlooking the sea. However, even the beachfront rooms are unacceptable: there is no closet, The tonic curtains are not opaque, they are not blackout, which means that in the early morning the light does not let you sleep. only a bar with four hangers, a ridiculous little table, and the lack of basic amenities such as a hairdryer, refrigerator, or coffee maker make the experience disappointing. Overall, the value for money is poor. If you still decide to stay here, it is highly recommended to check the rooms before accepting the reservation. NOTE. Extremely Disappointed Upon Arrival We arrived at this property and, unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing so far. While the porters were friendly and helpful with our luggage, the rest of our experience has been frustrating and well below the expectations set by the property’s advertising. Check-In Issues: We arrived at the check-in desk first, only to be ignored while other guests were served ahead of us. I had to speak up and demand attention before we were even acknowledged. This unwelcoming start immediately set the tone for what was to follow. Room Delays and Food Availability: To make matters worse, we were informed that our room would not be ready until 5:30 PM, which left us waiting for hours with nothing to do. During this time, we tried to get some food but were disappointed to find the menu offering very little—nacho crisps were the only available option. Room Disappointment: When we were finally shown to our room, it was far from what we had booked or expected: • We had paid for a deluxe queen room with a beach view, but were instead given a room with two single beds. • There was no television in the room, which is showcased when booking • The biggest issue was the lack of hot water. The room was not equipped with the basic amenities we had been promised. • The window was broken and couldn’t be closed, leaving us exposed to mosquitoes, bugs, and even creating a security concern. While the beach view is stunning, it does not make up for the lack of attention to detail, the unprepared room, and the absence of basic comforts and services we expected. First Impressions: Based on the experience so far, this property has fallen significantly short of its advertised standards. We are extremely disappointed, and it is clear that the management needs to address these issues immediately to improve the guest experience. Update: Thankfully, the beds were comfortable, which allowed us to get a decent night’s sleep. The hot water issue was eventually sorted out for us, but the overall service has been subpar. Aside from the porters, it feels like no one at this property truly cares about the guests or their experience. Most interactions have been met with disinterest, and basic requests are often met with “sorry, not available.” Availability of Food & Drinks: One of the most frustrating aspects of our stay has been the lack of food and drink availability. We’ve constantly heard “sorry, not available,” which makes it feel like there is a lack of effort to meet guests’ basic needs. This is not what we expected from a property of this caliber. Overall Thoughts: By the end of our stay, there were a few redeeming features. The sunset spot was beautiful, the beds were comfy, and once the hot water issue was addressed, the shower was decent. The view from our room was also great, which was a nice bonus. Need to Know: • Access Issues: Cars and tricycles cannot drop you directly at the hotel. Instead, they will drop you at McDonald’s (Vanilla Beach), and from there, you’ll need to walk along the beach to reach the hotel. It’s a long walk, and in the heat, especially with lots of luggage, it’s not the most pleasant experience. • Tip: One person should walk to the hotel and ask for the porters’ help. They will come and carry your bags, which makes the walk much easier. The same applies when departing—make sure to plan accordingly. Overall, while the location has potential, the lack of attention to detail, poor service, and logistical challenges left us thoroughly disappointed. This property needs a serious improvement in both its amenities and guest experience to meet the expectations it sets.

Pros : All of my feedback will be on a “hotel” because it isn’t a resort (the word resort is used excessively in Philippines) Reading all the negative comments here and in google I was scared and thought about canceling, but it is not disastrous, actually pretty good place with a lot of potential and some points to correct: - amazing location : first line in beach, in Vanilla beach which is outside the town that I found crowded dirty and noisy whilst here, peaceful beautiful nature and sunsets. - vanilla beach is one of the finest beaches of El Nido, a tricycle ride to the town is 150 pesos for up to 3 people - 6 mn walk to McDonalds - 2 mn walk to the best sunset you can get - next to zip line el Nido which I loved - all staff, with no exceptions, are nice and helpful and smily - we asked for an extra bed in our room which they responded to positively with a reasonable price - restaurant food is super delicious : I am saying this as someone who suffered to find good food in almost all Philippines - the view from our room was breathtaking: no word to describe! I wish I can wake up to this everyday - room is spacious, was enough for 3 people with many luggage - bed linen clean, mattress comfortable. Enough plugs, correct decoration, hot water, modern AC and accessories - they offer help with luggage at arrival and departure (as it is accessible only through the beach) Cons : - it is not a resort, but a hotel with amazing amazing view - breakfast is very limited - room cleaning inly 1/2 days on demand (which is an inconvenience for a beachfront hotel with sand and water) - price is kind of expensive for what it offers for poor breakfast and no other included dish - access only by beach, otherwise with their service car! This should be mentioned big on the description! (It is not inconvenient when you know it because you contact them before and they pick up from McDonalds but if you don’t know then reaching the hotel following maps with luggage can be very difficult) - no response through booking (but they do respond via WhatsApp number given after booking)

Here is the bad story of our ElNido Trip with scam of Orange Pearl at Vanilla Beach.|We did not stay there it is just the story of booking with them the Island Hopping.||In the afternoon yesterday someone at the counter next to the Orange Pearls asked me about making Island Tour. We talked about it and i asked if there is tours starting by boat from Vanilla Beach as i have seen boats over there. He said yes. I asked which tour it is. He said you can choose A-B-C-D. I asked if he is sure - yes. |I said i will come back later to make everything clear. His English was not so well and i was not sure.|So in the evening i came with my friends. There was a woman at the reception of the Orange Pearl for booking the tours.||I asked the same like before. If there is a boat tour starting directly from Vanilla Beach. Yes she said and asked which tour we want.|I asked again if she is sure that it is starting here. Also she said yes and we should come at 8 am.|We than asked why so early as tours start normally later. She said no we need to come at 8 am, and she writes it on the receipt.|I than told her, that we do not get breakfast at that early time where we are staying and if it’s possible to get breakfast at the Orange Pearl for us as we don’t stay there. Yes she said we can come.||In the morning before 8am we where there. |They than told us breakfast is only for their guests.|Than after waiting a bit someone came and told us that they will go with us to the McDonald’s where the meeting point for the Van to ElNido is. I was shocked and asked if we are booked wrong? |They told us we have booked the shared tour and pick up time is around 9-9:30.|So by that time it was clear that they where lying on us the day before and just wanted us booking the tour with them.|Also in the morning no breakfast, hearing that we again have to go to ElNido and than hearing that meeting time is 9am, was unbelievable for me.|The so called supervisor woman was ignoring us and hiding.
