We had the worst experience at the restaurant of this hotel located on the beach. In short, they did not gave us 500 pesos of change back and treated us like we were trying to steal from them. So, be careful if they ask for a deposit. In long, they asked us a 500 pesos deposit which is consumable at the restaurant to stay on their chairs on the beach, which I have no problem with. We gave them a 1000 pesos, so we waited for our change, but it never came. Given that we were there all day and order a plate and drinks, we waited at the end of the day to ask for our change, which minus what we consume was around 350 pesos. It is at that moment that the waitress try to convince us that she had given us our change back during the day. We knew that we did not received anything so we argue and she told us they would look at the camera footage to prove she gave us our change. After waiting 15 minutes, she came back with 3 other people from the staff, including a security guard and told us that they all saw on the camera that she had given us our change back. We knew we did not receive the change so we asked to see that footage and they told us they will need to call the police before showing us the footage. As they were calling the police, I went to talk with the security guard who reveal me that there was no footage proving that she had given us our change back but only him had seen the waitress given us our change. Therefore, the whole camera footage thing was just a lie. At this point, we were not even arguing for the money given it was only 500 pesos, but for the principle as they were just lying to us. They sent us to their manager who told us that nobody from her staff could have done a mistake and forget to gave us our change, so we had for sure received the money. We try explaining the situation but she was not cooperative, she just said she would call the police and we would have to fill long report and at the end of the day it was her words against our, and we would lose as we were just tourist. After spending a long 20 minutes just to get our change we decided that it was not worth losing more time arguing for 500 pesos. However, they continue to argue that because we had consume for more than 500 pesos we had a balance to pay. It was just a really bad experience, so be careful if they ask you for a deposit given that this ruined our nice day at the beach. Regarding the food it was good but expensive for what you get. The view on the beach is great.

Airport Pick Up - There were some flight changes with Air Swift. Maremegmeg was very understanding and accommodating. Trisha and thr hotel driver were at the airport waiting for us when we arrived. Arrival to thr Resort- They had delicious welxome drinks waiting for us as well as cold hand towels to help with the heat of thr weather. Von explained our check-in information and hotel services. Room - The view from the Beach view room was just amazing. The room itself was quite spacious and clean. The bathroom looked and felt like a spa. FYI - bathroom has one side closed off with just wood and screens. No one can see inside and you can't see ouside BUT you can hear people walking in and out of the staff room which is across the way. It can be a little awkward doing your business while hearing people walking and talking outside. Food - We spent a majority of our time on beach. Chad was very efficient in getting our food and drinks to us. Almost everything we ordered was delicious. The two times we ordered room service though were a bit of a disappointment. First we ordered the crispy chicken sandwich - the chicken was under cooked. The next day we ordered the club sandwich. It was smothered with too much mayo. Private Tour - We booked the Raine package which allowed is about 8 hours on a small boat with Andy and Saranggani. Andy took us to a number of beaches and lagoons. The tour included a lunch at a private island. Andy even kayaked for us while we were at the Big Lagoon. This was extremely helpful as there were too many people and was difficult to navigate and appreciate the beauty of the lagoon. Wifi - WiFi speed was great for emails and social media. Staff - The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Unparalleled views, excellent customer service, clean and spacious rooms will definitely have us coming back

this review is for BITON ROOM 🤍(this is quite a novel haha) I discovered this restaurant through Laureen’s vlog, where she raved about it, so I knew I had to try it with my boyfriend. It’s located on Maremegmeg Beach, but finding it was quite the adventure. We had to ask several locals before finally finding someone who knew where it was. To our disappointment, we arrived on a Monday only to find out they’re closed that day, so we had to come back the next evening. When we returned, we had the place to ourselves, likely because it was the low season and the weather wasn’t great. From the moment we walked in, I loved the fine dining atmosphere, even though we were casually dressed in shorts that night. I started with the lobster bisque, which was hands down the creamiest soup I’ve ever had. We also tried the shrimp & feta bruschetta with chili confit, which was absolutely amazing. For the main course, I went with the coffee-roasted pork belly—being a huge pork lover, I couldn’t resist! It was the softest pork I’ve ever tasted, and the sauce was just perfect. Mon and Jackie, our waitstaff, were wonderful, treating us like VIPs throughout the evening. After dinner, we made sure to personally thank the chefs for preparing one of the best meals we’ve had in El Nido. I can’t wait to come back, and I really hope this place gets the recognition it deserves. Highly recommended, 11/10! **P.S.: They’re closed on Mondays.** Also, my boyfriend ordered Nasi Goreng which was absolutely amazing too 🫶🏼

There are many unsung heroes of this resort worthy of recognition. The beach staff maintain an immaculate shoreline, manage local stray dogs effectively, and provide exceptionally friendly and helpful service. The security personnel vigilantly watch over guests' belongings and impressively remember faces.

The cleaning staff deserve special praise for keeping not only the rooms but the entire resort spotless. Unfortunately, the general service staff fell short of these standards, often being unhelpful and difficult to interact with. One staff member, ironically named "Angel," was particularly abrasive in her dealings with guests.

Our experience with scooter rental illustrates these service issues. After agreeing to a price, we were presented with a significantly deteriorated vehicle that was clearly unsuitable. When we declined, staff were inflexible, offering a modern alternative at a 150% markup—a practice that felt like an intentional bait-and-switch. This disappointing interaction led us to book our private tours through external providers, representing substantial lost revenue for the resort.

The breakfast experience was similarly underwhelming. Food appeared to be set out very early (5-6am) and remained unrefreshed throughout the morning, resulting in stale offerings for late diners. Premium options like barista-made coffee and made-to-order eggs were included but never advertised or offered to guests—we only discovered these through another guest on our second day, and subsequently informed others who had been there for 3-4 days without this knowledge.

While the on-site restaurant food is good by local standards (though average by international comparison), service was frustratingly inconsistent. Unless seated near the bar, getting attention was nearly impossible. Multiple times, we finally caught a waiter's eye only to have them acknowledge us and then disappear—despite our consistent and generous tipping.

We also noticed that staff appear to live on-site in what looks like a repurposed reception or banquet hall within the main building, which seems an unusual arrangement for a resort of this caliber.

It is a great place to stay with amazing views, but really needs work to command what it is charging. We stayed in three different rooms over the course of our stay and the beds were very uncomfortable (hard) in all...

Mareme Gmeg Bleach beach is a dreamy spot, a hidden paradise far from the crowds, where nature unfolds in all its splendor. The fine golden sand blends with vibrant turquoise waters, creating a scene worthy of a postcard.||From a comfortable hammock, with your feet buried in the sand and the waves gently lapping your ankles, the spectacle is unparalleled. The view opens onto a horizon dotted with islands, their silhouettes seemingly delicately painted against the endless blue of the ocean. The sea breeze caresses your skin, and the rhythmic sound of the waves completes the symphony of this natural refuge.||Unlike other crowded beaches, tranquility reigns here. The towering trees that reach the shore offer generous shade, inviting rest and contemplation. The walk along the beach to Cabañas Bleach is a true delight: the swaying of the palm trees, the birdsong, and the sensation of walking on soft sand make the walk an almost magical experience.||To enjoy this paradise even more, there's nothing better than relaxing at the beach bar and restaurant, where you can rent sun loungers and enjoy a refreshing drink or a delicious meal. The place is magnificent, with a welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service. The waiters, always friendly and professional, make each visit an even more pleasant experience, especially Carlos and Franc, whose attentiveness and warmth leave a lasting impression on every visitor.||As evening falls, the sunset unfolds its magic. The sky is tinged with shades of gold, orange, and pink, reflecting off the water like a moving canvas. It's a spectacle worth enjoying slowly, allowing every nuance and reflection to be etched in your memory.|| For the more adventurous, the zip line offers a unique perspective. Gliding over the beach and admiring the immensity of the landscape from above is an exciting and unforgettable experience. From the air, the beauty of this paradise is revealed in all its splendor, with the beach stretching out like a golden tapestry and the turquoise waters shimmering in the sun.||Mareme Gmeg Bleach is not just a beach; it's a destination for the senses, a gift from nature that invites you to unwind, explore, and, above all, enjoy beauty in its...
