Flo Island Home — Hotel in General Luna

This was a lovely gem a little way out of the main hustle - not far, 5-10 mins walk? Honestly we weren’t expecting much as it was so cheap and we only needed one night. We were pleasantly surprised, the room had super high ceilings and a balcony. The air con was good, not 10/10 but good. Annoyingly, There was a power cut whilst we were there so got sweltering but we were leaving anyway. This is also very common on the island. The bathroom is your own which is nice and clean. Our issue was the washing hands facilities - Presumably meant to use the shower but not easy as goes everywhere and was no hand soap - not even in the kitchen? But definitively recommend...

It’s a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying there. Location is very beautiful and close to almost all the places in General Luna, Siargao

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff, Ben, who was extremely friendly. Home cooked food was delicious. Rooms were spacious and comfortable given that their rooms are just “budget rooms”. We loved the ambience too, the two hosts are super friendly as well and fun to be with!

I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again.

A disappointment. Arrived a helpful worker stored our bags as we were early, on our return to check in the room was ready but had obviously not been cleaned. There was human sick outside the door of the balcony and lots of bird faeces. This was also where the mattress was laid on the floor. Obviously we did not stay in the room, asked for a change but they wanted more money. So requested a refund. The owner was helpful in applying for a refund, and in their communication since then.
