Heard a lot of good things about this place thats why we booked here. Though sadly, it wasn’t the best experience.
Pros: rooms were spacious, breakfast was SO YUMMY and servings were really big. The place was really instagrammable. Though it is not beach front, it isnt far naman from the beach.
Cons: construction was really noisy. They were pouring cement and it was too loud. Though I feel like we were just unlucky.
They had really weird rules. So we booked 3 rooms and the 2 that we booked were for 3 nights while 1 was for 2 nights. Me and a friend arrived early morning of friday and our room was not yet ready. So we decided to go in the room of our other friend (who checked in the day before) to put our stuff while waiting. One of the staff members stopped my friend from going inside the room (as in she approached him 😅). It was not allowed daw. WHICH WAS MEAN. I would understand if we didnt pay for any of the rooms and that we were checked in elsewhere. But we got 3 rooms. We just needed to put our stuff there while waiting for our check in.
Their rooms are spacious like i said but we were getting bitten by mosquitoes. We had to put off all over our bodies just to sleep well. Also, we were able to see 3 cockroaches inside our room. We informed the staff about this as well.
Also, one of my friends asked if her congee could be reheated because it was cold. The staff replied, “we dont reheat food for hygienic purposes.” Hmmm not sure if this is the best thing to say?
Hope the owners look into this. Not sure if they know that this is how their service is. They need to train the staff as they appear to be cold and...
Read moreWalking into Curbside Launion is like stepping into a slice of paradise. The rooms are not just comfortable but designed with a keen aesthetic sense. One highlight was their beautiful open bathroom, merging seamlessly with nature and adding a touch of luxury.
A serene koi pond right outside your doorstep, a calming presence that added to the overall tranquility of the place. The TV in each room is packed with movies, ensuring there's never a dull moment. Couple that with their swift and uninterrupted internet, and you're set for entertainment.
The staff here is the epitome of hospitality, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. For those unfamiliar with the area, Curbside Launion goes a step further by offering a detailed guide map, highlighting the best places to dine and explore.
The food, especially the breakfast that comes with the accomodation, is something to look forward to each morning. Their vegan options are commendable, but the beef tapa, with its generous servings, remains an unmissable favorite.
Their drink menu is extensive and impressive, catering to all tastes. The entire ambiance of Curbside Launion, with its secluded and peaceful setting, makes for a perfect getaway. While I've yet to try their massages, it's on my list for the next visit, and I've heard only good things.
For those driving in, the ample parking is a definite boon. In essence, with so much on offer both within and outside its walls, Curbside Launion stands as not just a place to stay, but an experience waiting to unfold. Can't wait for my next...
Read moreNice balinese vibes kind of place, the staff is kind and welcoming. We reserved three villas in my sister's name. It had room for all of the occupants. We were unaware that there were no fridge, TVs, or wardrobes in the room, making it different from a conventional hotel room. However, knowing these things might be helpful for travellers. My parents' villa downstairs; their bathroom is filthy and smells terrible like a pipe or drain smell. Upon check-in in our villa 7, bathrooms don't appear to have been fully cleaned because water marks and residue are all over the bathroom mirrors and pump bottles are also not cleaned lots of soap scums. The shower is a pain with a very low pressure and its only either cold or hot nothing in between. The villa walls were so thin that I could hear my brother conversing in their downstairs villa bathroom, my niece chuckling and saying hello to me as she could hear me too as well as our next-door neighbour, who we can hear quite clearly. It wasn't very palatable. Also my partner had an unpleasant experience when he ordered beer at the bar as the attendant needs to check with someone first before giving it to him; if the attendant is a minor he shouldn’t be behind the bar. The breakfast was the only aspect of the hotel that we appreciated; it was delicious, generous, and served quickly. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately my parents and all of us didn’t have seamless experience and wont...
