This resort has the sweetest staff ever! My entire extended family (18+ ppl) was welcomed with fresh orange juice as we arrived! They were so polite and were always so quick with offering us with our needs all throughout our stay! I definitely would recommend staying here because everyone is so reliable and super helpful.
To future guests, please do know that if you have little kids or seniors w mobility issues, it may not be ideal to stay here because the 3min walk to the beach, it is downhill w cement stairs surrounded by trees. It is tiring (even for me who is in their 20s and goes to the gym 5 times a week), i too, ran out of breath! It is good cardio for anyone in their youth without kids! That 3min walk to the beach will take you to a bit a maze-like adventure through other establishments! The other option is to go through the front and get an e-tricycle ride (ranges from 50-100 pesos depending on how many are riding).
When you get from the boat ride from the airport, please know that the e-tricycle or van wont be able to drive you right in front of the resort (like how you would at a hotel) to drop off ur luggages. They will have to stop at the gate and you’ll have to walk for like 45seconds to a minute w ur stuff and then you can get inside the lobby. But here’s the thing, there are a LOT of stairs. Which is another reason why this may not be ideal for seniors w knee issues or in wheelchairs because there are no accessibility.
The rooms are super clean, AC works great, the family room had 4 wireless charging night stands with more ports to charge more devices (usb and usb-c available). The showers are amazing (not as hot as i liked but i can’t get mad because it was still refreshing). Every time they do house cleaning, they add fresh toothbrush or guest kits to replace the ones you have already used. They laid my bunny plushy in my bed in such a cute way haha i loved that cute touch!
My extended family stayed in the villas! The biggest one had so much space! However, the stairs were quite steep so please be careful especially if you are staying with toddlers!
I will definitely consider going back here next time! Great for introverts to stay in station 3 because it’s further from the crowded area. But not too far of a walk to station 2 (took me and my cousins 8-10min to reach the lively areas). Oh! And the free breakfast options are amazing! The tapsilog was perfectly cooked and...
Read moreTravelling from Australia, we recently stayed at this brand-new complex for 6 nights with a group of 9 (5 kids included), and it was perfect for our family! We were lucky to stay in the spacious Elsa Villa, which comfortably accommodated 7 of us, while the other 2 stayed in the AJ Deluxe Room.||The staff here truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome from the start. Even though construction is still ongoing, it didn’t bother us at all, and the complex still feels fresh and well-maintained.||While this isn’t directly on the beach, it’s only a short 3-minute walk away… be aware that there are many (many) stairs, but it’s super cheap for an e-trike to D’Mall, which was super convenient. ||The kids absolutely loved the pool! Even though it’s on the smaller side, it was perfect for cooling off after a hot day.||We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this place for large families. ||Finding accomodation in Boracay for a family can be expensive and there are only a few affordable options around, and this was the perfect...
Read moreI recently had the most comfortable stay at Grospe Resort in Boracay! The ongoing construction didn't hinder the fantastic experience one bit. The rooms and villas are already a slice of paradise - clean, cozy, and equipped with the most comfortable beds. The chilly air conditioning was a blessing after a day under the Boracay sun.
What truly sets Grospe apart is the warmth of its staff. Their genuine friendliness made it feel like we were staying with family. The ongoing construction was barely noticeable, and the peace and tranquility surrounding the resort were unparalleled.
The owner's friendliness added a personal touch – their dedication to making our stay memorable were beyond expectations. It's more than just a resort; it's a home away from home. I hadn't seen my cousins from the US in over a decade, and Grospe provided the perfect backdrop for our reunion.
I'm already counting the days until I can return and witness the completed masterpiece. Grospe Resort is a gem in the making, and I can't recommend it enough. To anyone planning a Boracay trip, Grospe is...
