My experience with Eclipse Scuba Diving in Boracay, where I obtained my PADI Advanced Open Water certification under the guidance of Mike, was nothing short of amazing. Mike, an experienced instructor since 1996-‘97 (if I remember well), was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly passionate about diving, which made learning from him a pleasure.

One of the highlights of the course was the Deep Dive, where we explored the tribord airplane and another day discovered a wreck ship. These dives were not only thrilling but also allowed me to improve my skills and gain confidence underwater. Mike's expertise and guidance were instrumental in making these dives both safe and unforgettable.

Another exciting aspect of the course was fish detection, where we learned to identify different species of fish and understand their behavior. I could see also a Turtle passing just near This added a new dimension to my diving experience, making me appreciate the marine life even more.

Overall, my time with Eclipse Scuba Diving in Boracay was incredible. The combination of excellent instruction, thrilling dives, and stunning underwater scenery made it an experience I will cherish forever. Eclipse is a FANTASTIC dive center. I would give them 100 out of 10 or 10 stars out of 5 if I can. I really chose the best place to obtain my OWD certificate. The shop looks small and unassuming as it doesn’t have the big fancy signboard or multi-columned dive schedule board outside to catch attention, but you will have great equipment and THE BEST SERVICE from Mike and Andrew. Mike was fast in answering questions and our requests to combine the schedule of me (to be certified) and my friends (certified divers). Mike and Andrew are wonderful instructors, the type that HELP you learn. So kind and patient and knowledgeable, Mike professionally eased out all my fear and anxiety and gave me the best learning experience ever, despite me being not a good swimmer and usually terrible at sports. They always listen to our concerns and wishes and try their best to accommodate. Every dive was enjoyable and fun. You will feel safe underwater with Mike. Eclipse Dive Center is the go to destination for diving while visiting Boracay. Mike and his team are the consummate professionals who work hard to not only make sure you are safe while diving but that all aspects of the experienced are coordinated efficiently. In 2011 I was able to obtain my Open Water certification. After visiting another dive shop in Bali, Indonesia which proved to be a bad experience, I was able to truly appreciate the excellence of Eclipse. In 2015 returned, this time with additional family and friends so that I could obtain my Advance Open Water and the rest of the party could obtain their Open Water certification. Our entire party was able to successfully receive their certifications, everyone felt safe and much more important, we all had a great time.
