We stayed here for 2 nights and everything is wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, its location is perfect and the room we booked has direct access to beach. You open your curtain and you will see the famous beach of boracay and then open your door to experience it. Their staff are all friendly, accomodating and helpful and allowed us to have an early check in. They were also able to book us our airport transpo last minute. Breakfast, which is included in our reservation, is cooked to order with American and Filipino selections. They only serve breakfast though but there is a restaurant which is just beside the hotel. The room is a little small but I am not complaining and still love it overall. They have smart TV. I know, we dont travel to watch TV but when its time to rest it is nice and very homey to have your favorite Netflix show or movie with you. Their wifi connection inside the room and common areas is very strong and fast. When it comes to bathroom, they have hot and cold water, bidet and shower is rainfall showerhead. I love that the toiletries are complete. They have dental, shaving and vanity kits. Shower cap and blower. Bar soaps. Their shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion are not in small sachets or small bottles but in very huge (and I think refillable) dispensers which I think is friendly to environment since they wont have a lot of plastic bottles to throw. And they also have swimming pool, by the way. This will definitely be first on our list when we visit...
Read moreWe spent our honeymoon at La Banca House. The location, the pool and the beach are great. The staff friendly. Arrived we have the deluxe room with beach view on the second floor. The room was more than tiny. The queen size bed with 1.70m length under standard and too short for normal queen size bed. With a body length of over 1.80 m not comfortable. We kindly got a larger room, which also had the same queen size bed. The hotel has no longer beds! For European men of normal stature, the beds are rather unsuitable. The worst part of the holiday was the monotonous construction noise from the neighboring house, 2 meters from our balcony from 8 am until late in the evening with a circular saw and hammer blows. Also until late in the evening loud music from the bar of the neighboring house. The entire beach section to the right of the house to the end of the beach has many construction works, which are determined by 2020 not yet finished. A nice hotel, but not recommended for the next two years. A premature departure was denied by the hotel manager and they insisted that we have to pay our entire honeymoon as booked. On the friendly supports with many phone calls from Hotels.com for an earlier departure leave, the manager did not accept that. We...
Read morePros It was peaceful, quiet and relaxing, away from all the busy establishments and crowds of people in Station 2. Its next to Club Climax and The Auhana which are in the farthest side of Station 3. There are a lot of good restaurant options around. We had a 3-4ft pool outside our door which we usually have for ourselves. It was warm even at night, probably because it was in the sun the whole day. Its really a beachfront as the sand is just outside the ground floor rooms. Water pressure, heating and AC was good! You can access Netflix on their TV. A 24/7 security and neat beach! Reception was very helpful and friendly. We even asked them to have our clothes laundered (for a price) and fetch us a tuktuk / tricycle to get back to the port.
Cons · It was a bit hard to get here from the main road. It was steep and unpaved at the start. No signages and a bit of a narrow path. It was also dark at night. I'd suggest getting to the hotel by the beach. Its a bit of a walk to get back, but that was fine since you can sightsee as you go. DMall is a 10-15min walk. Nonetheless, we had a pleasant stay. We would stay here again if we ever come back to Boracay a...
