Go Hotels Ermita-Manila offers budget-friendly accommodations with notable highlights and areas for improvement as per my experience. What I Loved: 1. Surprisingly Comfortable Beds: The beds exceeded expectations, providing much-needed rest after a long trip. 2. Adjoining Rooms: Perfect for families, the adjoining rooms are a convenient feature for those traveling in groups. 3. Water Dispensers on Every Floor: A thoughtful touch, ensuring guests have access to drinking water anytime. 4. Parking Availability: While parking is convenient, it comes with a minimal fee (more on that below). Room for Improvement: 1. Hidden Parking Fees: I was caught off guard by the parking fee, as it wasn’t disclosed upfront. Transparency on this would be helpful. 2. Slow Service: Response times from the front desk and the Viber hotline were frustratingly long, with delays of 30-50 minutes. 3. Air Conditioning Issues: My early check-in turned unpleasant when the air conditioning in my room failed. It took an hour to be transferred to another room, and the technical team’s response was sluggish. Also worth noting that I seek help from their front desk and online helpdesk but I still get a late response (about 45min+). After a tiring drive from the north, this was especially disappointing. Final Thoughts: While the experience had its downsides, the hotel still offers good value for its price. The free late check-out they provided as compensation was a nice gesture. If they address their service speed and communication issues, Go Hotels Manila could be a more reliable choice for travelers.

We stayed here twice. On September (for 5 days) and on October (for 7 days) and both of our stay were comfortable EXCEPT for the very hint but noticeable smell inside the rooms. We tried transferring to different rooms but it's still the same. It might be coming from the floors ir curtains, we're really not sure. We just end up having to spray alcohol and disinfectant whenever the smell comes back. They have staff to bring you fresh towels upon request but they have very limited amenities. Hot water is only available on certain times of the day, where you had to go down the lobby just to have your hot water. They also don't have restaurant inside and we always end up have our food delievered or eat outside. They also don't have tables and chairs inside the room so it's not comfortable when you eat inside your room. Overall, we only stayed here to sleep since we have business to attend to and it was good enough and we felt at ease safety wise.

I will be bias for this review. We checked in on December 16 - 18, 2018 around 3 pm, 2 adults and 2 kids. Hate: 1. Unfriendly front officer. I felt I was insulted of how I was treated or how she dealt with me. You see, I've been to other customer oriented accommodation, better than this one but I felt their warm greetings what ever I have put on me, whatever I am wearing for that matter. 2. Guard that is just as the f.o. come on, you guys issued one card. As much as I don't want to ask for any help, I won't be able to go to our room without you giving me an access to the elevator. 3. That voice on the elevator that told me what to do on the card to have the elevator function... 4. Small room, small toilet and small shower room... 5. You can hear the other room's guests voice. 6. You can hear the elevator's sound. Lucky for me - I was greeted by the housekeeper on the 5th floor when we reach our room.

We weren't properly oriented by the receptionist that we have to use the card key in the elevator before we can press our floor destination upon going to our room, so we had a little trouble trying to figure out how to use the elevator (we were assigned on the 10th flr). Thanks to some people and a crew of their hotel, we were able to figure it out without the need to go back to the reception. The room is smaller than what's on the picture. At the lobby, most receptionists are not very friendly. They literally don't smile the whole time, which was kinda rude to me because we went there many times and we wouldn't have talked to them if we didn't have problems like these: their wifi password that expires from time to time, card key that wasn't working, & incomplete toiletries. They only provide shampoo, soap, & tissue. No toothpaste, toothbrush, and conditioner like what other hotels basically provide. Toothbrush, tooth paste, and conditioner are available from their mini store at the lobby. Their white towels are so dirty (it looked gray than white). It's inconvenient for your companion/s to stay in the room if you have to go out. If you go out you need the card key for the elevator (there's just one card key and they don't proactively give another card key if there's any because I really don't have any idea) cause without the card key, you can't go down, in the room, without the card, the electricity will be out. If you want to use a hair dryer/blower, you're gonna have to rent it from them like 105 pesos for 3 hours, if you're unfortunate you're not gonna be able to rent one at all for they don't have enough dryer to provide to each room in the building. Sometimes they skipped cleaning the rooms. There was one time the room cleaner kept knocking non stop on our door because he wanted us to open it, for he will start cleaning. We told him (and we were sure he heard us) we will leave, we just need time to get our stuff, so rude, he can't even wait, it didn't even take us 1 minute to get our stuff. They don't even use air freshener after cleaning, the room smelled really weird after cleaning. Their hotel is in front of a one way road which is very inconvenient sometimes for taxi drivers to quickly reach the pick up point. IF THESE, ARE NOT ENOUGH TO STOP YOU FROM BOOKING THIS HOTEL, I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE! GOOD LUCK &...

Late Review, But Here It Is:PROS:1. The hotel is within walking distance of the Robinson Shopping Center, and there are several Middle Eastern restaurants nearby. 2. The rooms are budget-friendly, making it a great option for those looking to save. 3. The housekeepers and Front desk staff are accommodating.4. There is a mineral water station next to the elevator, which is perfect for water drinkers.5. Amenities: Shampoo and soap are provided.CONS:1. There are no extra beds available for additional guests. If you're a group of three, you'll need to book a second room, as the double rooms are only suitable for two people. 2. The hotel is located in a high-traffic area, and the walls are thin (made of wood), which can lead to noise disturbances. Large groups can create noise that affects your peace and quiet. You can even hear conversations from other rooms due to the thin walls. 3. You may hear doors slamming if other guests are opening or closing their room doors.4. The bathrooms aren’t very clean and lack proper maintenance.5. The bathroom has mold that needs to be scrubbed off.6. There are small cockroaches.7. No dental kits (toothbrush, toothpaste) are provided.8. Only one key card is provided, with no extra key cards available. 9. No complimentary breakfast.10. You’ll need to pay for an extra person, but there is no extra bed available.11. The location of the hotel doesn’t feel very safe.12. The marketing photos of this hotel are very enticing and make it seem like a great choice to book, but in person, it doesn't quite live up to the expectations.Overall: This is a budget-friendly hotel, so don’t expect luxury. It’s more suitable for backpackers who need a place to stay overnight, especially for those catching early flights. I wouldn’t recommend it for those with early morning appointments, meetings as the noise makes it hard to sleep peacefully and for those guests to stay with a bit of time because they don’t have choice. Not recommended for long...

Room: Very clean (pristine) with separate (from each other and the main room) ensuite toilet and shower (3 rooms in total).Furniture: an open wardrobe (no doors to open / close) with a hanging area for five items and small area for other clothes beneath. Integrated into the area noted previously is a combined pull-out computer work table - below that is an area for shoe / bag storage where a stool for the pull-out table also resides.Kettle / beverages: Unfortunately, no fridge and less fortunately, no kettle / coffee / tea.A large flat screen television sits on a wall with many channels, including English, German, French and, Filipino.Bed: a queen bed which was very comfortable: ample for two, huge for one.Mirrors: long vertical mirror in the main room with a shaving mirror in the toilet / sink room.WIFi: worked well without problems.Safety deposit box (free): located in within a bedside table which is number pad operated.Location: i don’t know Manila - my stay was a short stay to quickly look around before visiting a coastal location for more adventurous sports however, this location appears well placed for seeing the city.Security: the hotel has 24/7 staffed reception desk and a 24/7 security guard, who I think present to prevent the very unfortunate and impoverished people of Manila from entering the premises.Downsides: No hot drink making facilities and no fridge; one toilet roll and no service - even to ask whether more toilet roll, soap etc is required. Wardrobe storage would not be enough for a couple with a large amount of luggage staying for a long duration however, this hotel appears more aimed toward short stays. It was perfect for me with a small backpack.Overall summary: If you’re looking for swimming pools and gym facilities, this place isn’t for you however, if you’re after a short-stay comfortable and clean room which is well located with good security and nice staff - you couldn’t go wrong with this accommodation choice - highly...
