Archdiocesan Shrine of Nuestra Señora de Guia - Ermita Church (Archdiocese of Manila) — Attraction in Manila

We fell in love with this church the first time we visited so we decided to get married here. It should be rated 5/5 if not for the secretary - Analyn Nuestro, who ruined the solemnity of our wedding ceremony. A lot of our guests, including our coordinators, complained of how rude and disrespectful she was. She gave unclear instructions which caused confusion to our entourage and coordinators, and even replied sarcastically when asked. She even wanted us to wrap up immediately after the mass when she made it clear in one of our meetings that we'll have 1 hour and 30 mins for the ceremony and pictorial. The mass didn't even take an hour to finish so our photographers took advantage of the remaining time to capture all the pictures and videos they can while being scolded. There was even this instance when we had to retake because she was captured on the video scolding the videographer when he's only doing his job.

The image was found on May 19, 1571, on the shores of a village called Lagyo (now part of Ermita).

Patroness of Navigators and Travelers:

Due to the image's association with the sea and the location of the church near the coast, she is venerated as the patroness of seafarers and travelers, particularly Overseas Filipino Workers.

Canonical Coronation:

The image received a canonical coronation on December 30, 1955.

God you are telling people about did not told you to care about other people who lives beside the church and have work not to disturb them by using loud speaker everyday start 6 am to 8 and after noon and evening !?

Please care about others we have work to do please lower the volume .. we are in 2025

Did ur god told u to annoying people at 9 pm by loud songs ??

Did jesus told you disturb people life by using loud speaker and force them to hear his words !!

Is Jesus who came for peace he told you to not respect others !!?
