What can I say? It's your usual Starbucks (without the reserve coffee counter). Good for the caffeine hit, wifi, and hip vibe. Cafe mocha is my goto just cause I like chocolate. Sometimes I have Cafe latte, or cappuccino with an added shot (they're all horribly milked down) and some sugar to make it taste like a decent cup. If you're expecting mindblowing coffee you're in the wrong place.
The branches with the reserve counter (Conrad S Maison, Rockwell Powerplant, etc.) serve decent espresso-based coffee in tiny thimbles they call cups. They taste decent for the price (espressos, and espresso based coffee is generally better unless you botch it), but they won't last you a half second so buyer beware. I'd advise you go buy their reserve beans (around 600 pesos if I recall correctly) ; get a grinder; a coffee maker, and everything else you need if you happen to take a shine to a particular reserve bean so you can brew more substantial cups at home,...
Read moreMy friends and I went here to study. We arrived at about 4:30 PM and the place was just about full but luckily, we were able to secure ourselves a few tables and seats. The baristas and employees were kind and accomodating. At about 6 PM, we were told that we won't be able to use the restroom anymore due to the water interruption which was a bit of a bummer for my bladder but I understand.
I liked the place's ambience. However, the air conditioning is more on the colder side so I suggest you bring a jacket to keep you warm. Also, they play the music a little too loud for my liking that it's become a a bit distracting. It would be better if they played something instrumental. For the costumer, I suggest you bring your own earphones and play your own...
Read moreFood quality is okay, the same as any other starbucks branch. What I dont like about this branch is the amount of people that's always in it. I mean, it's not their fault of course but this is just a heads up for those who want to to relax and have a quiet time reading or whatever. You wont get it here cos it's always crowded. It's a challenge to get seated inside but the arrival of order is fast. If you're waiting for your car to arrive, this is a good place to wait since they have tables and chairs outside. If you're just planning to hang out and relax, you can visit the other branch in the middle of the mall; 1st flr, beside...
