Le Mirage has some pluses and some minuses. The building for Le Mirage is nice and the security guards are very friendly. We wanted a condo because of the convenience of having our family of 5 in one rental and it definitely served its purpose well. ||||Location is good - it's a short distance from the airport and from other sights around Manila. The streets around it are very active (i.e. noisy), but I'm not sure it's any different in any other part of Manila. ||||The staff had not plugged in the refrigerator or the wifi modem or anything else before we got there so we had to figure all that out. This wouldn't have been a problem except for the outlet for the refrigerator was basically a hole in the wall and we were scared to plug anything in there. Basically, it took a bit of work for us to get settled our first night which was a little annoying since we got in late that night. It seems like it could have been cleaner, as well - my socks turned black after walking around on the floor for just one evening. ||||The 3rd bedroom was small, which I expected, but it was also incredibly noisy. The door that leads to the balcony from that room was very thin (made of plastic, I think!) and I could hear everything from the street. There was no air conditioning in the room to help drown out the street noise in that small room, but there was in the other 2 rooms. I ended up taking the mattress off the bed in that room and putting it in the kitchen where it was quieter. ||||The primary reason I can't recommend apartment 1411 is due to a safety issue. The neighbor to this apartment is apparently VERY upset that the apartment gets rented. One night we had to request that he turn his music down at 2 AM and he yelled and screamed in the hall and threatened to beat down our door. Security responded promptly and took care of the situation. And the rental company was apologetic when we told them, so I'm not unhappy with the way it was handled. But, considering how upset this guy got with us, I can't recommend that anyone stay in this particular apartment until that situation is dealt with. ||||Of course I can't really recommend other apartments, either, since I haven't seen them. But, overall, the building is good and I'm guessing that the other apartments provide a...
Read moreFirst time renting a condo, having to spend most of my visits to Manila in a hotel makes this experience different. We got an upgrade from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom without notice until I have to call to reconfirm though we were not charge extra. I expected that a Mini Stop convenience store would just be available outside the building as shown in their website but it was already closed and the website did not even mentioned it. Good thing that 7/11s are available just a few meters away. There is also a bakeshop nearby that opens early and closes late. Check in was ok. It's a condo so expect that you will meet a lot of people including children in the lobby and elevator.||||ROOM: unit is clean but toilet was not functioning/No water when we arrived. We have to call the front desk and text the caretaker Sharmaine. Maintenance people were sent to fix it and all was good. ||||LOCATION: 6 out of 10. PROs - Since BF is not serve then you can buy food from the small food stall outside the building. CONs - dark alley and I do not feel safe when walking during the night.||||The unit was good enough if you just stay in the room. I will just have to shop for groceries next time to make sure that all is prepared and we can just cook and do not have to buy food from outside. All cooking necessities are available in the room. I will come back if i get to go to Manila with the whole family since it would be economical...
Read moreI have stayed at this condo several times and i like it for several reasons. Spacious and clean, with 2 flatscreen tvs with cable, good ac, full compliment of cooking pots utensils small appliances big refrigerator 2 bathrooms, free wifi, close to the airport, mall of asia, and nightclubs, big pool, even has a small store on the 6th floor. Jeepneys and taxis are easy to get. Beds are good quality and furnishings are nice. Owner has installed nice new curtains, new artwork and painted the place. The third bedroom is a "maids quarters" which is very small but big enough for one person or child to sleep. Views over Manila harbor. True, its not a "hotel" and so no hotel type service such as daily fresh linen and towels, but they do that every 3 days i think. i have stayed at a lot of hotels in manila and i think for the price, location and all of the above its...
