MAINE CITY RESIDENCES - AGONCILLO — Hotel in Manila

I booked the economy room as I was just staying for two nights in between meetups with friends, so I wasn't expecting that much. I was just hoping I could sleep peacefully. The room was relatively clean (for a fairly cheap yet decent place), no TV (didn't mind since I had to work remotely, anyway, during my stay)... I was just so disappointed that the room I was assigned to was located under the stairs. It even looked sketchy and stuff. The door looked like it would be broken open with a soft nudge that I had to improvise just to make myself safe inside. I didn't mind it at first because the amount of space in that room somehow was bigger than the other economy rooms that are located in the main building and it felt like a bit of a compensation to the imperfections I found at first. But, boy, the room was noisy! I think the stairs led to some utility room above so every time a staff goes up and down the stairs, the room would be sooooooo loud with footsteps and utility things getting dragged along the stairs that are made of metal. Yes, metal! Like those iron stairs you see. That totally was the tipping point that ruined my experience. I could not sleep peacefully during daytime because it was noisy, and the staff were noisy, too. I don't know with the other rooms, but the mine definitely was not peaceful at all. If they were going to let a first-timer stay, it would definitely not be a good idea for their ratings. At first we choose this hotel or accommodation because of the excellent reviews but when we experienced it, we are very disappointed. The room has unpleasant odor, there are many cockroaches roaming around the room and the bathroom. The towels are so dirty the colors are almost gray like rugs. By the we stay at room 1103 and the bed cover is also dirty and even the there were no blankets, no way to use the toilet because of hose or water capability. Deception booking limitations they cancel the booking they said it will reduce the payment until July 22nd, 2021 but the agoda have policy too and they don't even dare to fix this matter. I believe the owner of this hotel or motel is so greedy of money that they don't care the welfare of their customers. I will not suggest or recommend this hotel or motel all deceptions. PLEASE BEWARE THEIR FACILITIES SUCKS AND THE TV ONLY HAVE YOUTUBE FOR THE SAKE OF ACCOMMODATING PEOPLE. THIS IE THE FIRST TIME I ENCOUNTERED THIS KIND OF HOTEL/MOTEL. Very cute . Its also quite comfortable considering the price , the workers were all very polite and were helpful in reservations, bookings ,taxi service and food orders .Also for directions and further help it is best to ask the staff , they are all willing to help, excellent customer service. A reminder, 1. You would have to bring your own toiletries and perhaps an indoor bathroom slipper , but beddings and a towel is provided and rooms are regularly cleaned2. there is no elevator , but staff do help with bags 3.Water pressure can also be low on the upper floors ,but itis sufficient to take showers 4. There's free wifi and Good Ac 5. Always recheck bookings if you plan to stay longer , they will give your room to the next customer if you don't pre-book before your checkout date 6.There are lots of convenient stores all around the area so if you need anything just walk to the nearest store.Overall ,my stay was a good experience, would definitely considered staying again for...
