I own a unit in Parque España Condominium. If you're ok with the setup of a hotel apartment condo, then you know that the association dues are a little higher than normal as well as your monthly electricity and water bill.
Pros: 24-hour security *Gym *Rooms are fairly spacious *Small Swimming Pool 24-hour reception assistance *Covered parking *Next to Commerce Centre, Festival Mall, Westgate and Alabang Town Centre, South Supermarket, Banks, Pharmacy and fast food chains *Laundry services *Restaurant food from 7am to 9pm *Meeting rooms *Reverve Power *Central Park next door *Driving Range *Bike and running path *Movie Theatre *Church
Cons: *Construction going on next door so dust, noise and illegal chemicals do sometimes become a nuisance *Some entitled visitors and walk-in hotel guests can't read English and still park on residents designated parking spaces *Some parties, weddings and gatherings tend to cheapen the class of Parque España when they stomp, shout, fight, cry, bring smelly food, over drink, pollute and destroy the premises that bothers us owners nightly (if you get unlucky they are at your floor or above your unit) *The occasional ringing your door because these guests can't read the flat numbers as well (and floor for that matter) *Central Parks attractions invited some "thrash people" to loiter and cat calling, bike recklessly, jog in the middle of the road, play badminton in the middle of the roads, shout a lot of profanity, and litter more which is just a bad eye soar.
That's why I leased out my property/s until construction next door finishes. Will enjoy the peace and view when alls done.
Hopefully, Filinvest Management and security handles the issues better. I would suggest to "GATE" Filinvest areas to better protect and retain its home feel safety for the residents living in...
Read moreGreat place, friendly and attentive staff, we love staying here. It is near dining and shopping options and not as chaotic as Manila! Our unit was clean, complete with kitchen and ample amenities for a very comfy stay. Brekky was sometimes hit and miss but we don't mind, there are other options nearby. We also had lunch and dinner there sometimes in their Cafe del Cielo. We like the friendly service there too especially the hard working staff, Eric, he's been there for many years and he's always accommodated any of our requests and much more! The people in Reception are also great especially the guys, one of them even went out of his way to give us cold drinks when he noticed we were waiting for our transfer to the airport and he was taking a while. The only negative was we had to walk in the stinking hot sun after making a lot of effort to arrange pick up from Festival Mall! All of us were sick, especially me, we were at Medicard. We waited 40 minutes for nothing! I had to run all the way to the Concierge of the mall to verify if we can be picked up, was assured we would be, gave our room number, etc..still nothing happened while my husband and very sick son were out in the heat watching for the van that never came! We tried to be patient but sometimes it could be really annoying! We shall still come back here but we'll make sure we get good transport next time! Our transfer to the airport was ok, he was a contractor and he too was surprised when I told him our annoyance and advised us...
Read moreI lived here in number of occassions, during my deputation days at Manila as well as post my relocation. I lived here for roughly 4 months in total. Even now I go there at least once in every 4 months, primarily because most of my colleagues travelling to Manila are put up here owing to official tie up with my organisation. Very neat place with good service. The best part about this place is, its a resedential hotel. You have a fully furnished kitchen to cook, and that means a lot to me because of my typical India food habbit which ( indian food) I dont find so easily in Alabang area. Rooms are clean, big, or rathet you have multiple choice of room sizes. Room servive is not very quick that where I strongly beleive they should improve. There is a small balcony which is opened on special request. Room amenities are good. There is a pool on top floor and a gym besides reception. Food menu is not extensive but I was give a flexi meal option, I could choose between Breakfast Lunch or Dinner for free ( limited spread thou). There is a mall right in front of this hotel and South Supermarket and Festival malls are free pick and drop by hotel, both at a walk away distance. Visitor parking is pretty expensive and parking area is pretty dangerous (ramp is pretty steap and parking place is very small). I had a perenial problem with TV and WIFI, but in my last visit I could see sky cable and the line was pretty neat. This is the best place to be if your office is at...
